Install new baseband. So far so good. Any review from others?

Added on June 15, 2011, 12:50 pmAnyone using which ROM pair with which Kernel pair with which Baseband is working prefect? I was quite tired for kept switching the ROM, baseband and kernel to find the most stabil on application (won't lag or hang until need to remove battery just can re-open) and the 3g is working stabil (mine currently will disconnect sometime and need to wait for several minute just can connect back, found that it was operator issue but mine other phone with same operator is working 100% fine so i guess should be ROM/baseband issue)

Think my problem solved. Reformat internal sd, no startup cleaner, ATK kill frequency on screen off. I believe the cache and the frequency signal causing the problem. Anyway do need root for baseband update?

This what I learn hehe:
Free memory, less apps: custom rom.
Save battery: baseband & rom (&overclock?)

Since here we have EDGE, 3g, 3.5g maybe some baseband not suitable cause like Korea way ahead in G's, any comment? In that case what range suitable for here?

will kernel auto flashed if we flashed with custom rom?

Yup, custom ROM have their own kernel, need to reflash every on new version

so means we still need seperately flash as it doesnt not build into d custom rom? if so, which one to flash first? CS or kernel 1? or when we flash custom rom, it auto flash with the kernel too?

flash newer version of rom then flash kernel every time.

how to check ril version and how to update ril?

apply ril fix by flashing ril zip made by people, if you need a ril fix go search ril at xda

is it just use clockworkmod and install the ril zip will do?

Ur list nice..not thinking to root yet cos no issue with storage plus some apps might not working properly. Wondering when the next gingerbread update now already June..

You may be right but different charger have different output, but in case you can't buy it now then use a micro usb cable first.
