Issues encountered? previously when I'm on stock, Maxis line seems to have 2-3 bars when I'm in my room. After flashing in the MCR fr17, I somehow manage to only get 0- 2 bars (most of the time 1 bar only).

And it seems to be pretty unstable.. within 5 seconds, the following will take place: (0 bar, 2 bar, 0 bar, 1 bar, 3 bar,) .. very eratic.. not sure if this is common?

Nope, I assumed that is not the problem of ROM

Just curious, cos hardware seem 2x much better!!!

I mean Stock UI : Optimus Black > Optimus 2X because it's newer.

Anybody can guide me where the picture files for all the optimus 2x icons are placed?

I wanna replace the Go SMS icon with the standard LG optimus 2x SMS icon (the green one that is in the form of a envelope with a smiley on it). Searched online and found some but its not quite right in terms of size and colour

Yeah, i tried out a demo OB also, its UI are kinda cool, i think LG called it Optimus UI 2.0, and darn i agreed with u, very smooth and eye candy, love the G button as well.

Hope LG applied it on O2X with Gingerbread.

i will getting this phone tomorrow.

just bought samsung galaxy sl month ago but i'll give that phone to my dad.

dual core and nvidia tegra 2 really tempting me. hope i'll make a good choice

What I can find on web is LG Stock wallpapers, ringtones, and so on but NO icons.
Maybe you need to find them in root explorer, or maybe extract the stock ROM and find where it is

If not wrong it also called Gesture UI, you press the G button and move the phone it will activate the sensors.
Bo bian.. each phone should have a key selling point, without that G button Gesture UI is not Gesture UI anymore.
But the sleek design pwns o2x in every way, though o2x has a good shape too. (IMHO)

I hope they optimized the Gingerbread to fullest, I don't mind wait for longer for a good ROM
I found a custom froyo ROM called Mondego on XDA, it's widely recommended by forumers there and the creator of it it's famous for the custom ROM made for Optimus One, I'm trying it and will make a quick review at tomorrow night

Ya, with so many support and custom ROMs out there, we can make this phone even better

how many space needed for 1 game? 800-1gb??

Well, the biggest size THD game is Monster Madness, data file around 400mb, others i think around 30~70mb, 16GB Class 10 are good for me lol

the majority here suffering the yellow tint thingy on the screen?

I think its only the backlighting that appear when screen turns black, dint bother me thou

I managed to find the icon Now i wanna know where are LG wallpapers stored.. Would like to store some wallpapers in there instead of putting it in my camera folder as I delete items in my camera folder often ..
