For your info, SGS II will officially landed on market end of this month, SME warranty 12 month with rrp rm2099.

Still i love my O2X, SGS II quite bulky and very plasticky. smile.gif

Darn LG is doing the same thing as early SE, at least SE has improve in the case of their new Xperia lineup as i think LG is going to put effort straight to Ice Cream Sandwich skipped Gingerbread in the progress.

i prefer slow release but stable version VS fast release but buggy versions, so LG take all the time u need, just don't release a slow but still buggy version for us
*
The issue is not about how fast they can, is about promises to their consumer but failed to deliver them, just like the major bug fix LG issued end of last month, dont seems to see that anywhere till now.

yea, with 512mb but reserve memory, if not mistaken tegra also consume 64mb ram right? but u can get custom rom etc to free it.
*
ULP Nvidia GPU inside will consume 128mb + 128mb more for system partition, so 250mb+ would be user available RAM size. smile.gif

The homescreen does go lag a bit when you try to pinch to zoom to get and overview of all your homescreens.
That's the part where i don't like it. A bit jerky when you zoom out from the homescreen. (I guess it's the Korean software issue.)
But I've fixed that via 3rd party launcher, Go Launcher EX, smooth and fast.
Got it rooted and froze the laggy LG default homescreen as well as other irrelevant stock apps.

I've been using my O2X for over a month plus. Fast, smooth, and really satisfied with the web browsing experience. Default browser is enough.
Gaming? No doubt it's the best that i have seen right now besides Xperia Play (Proud of its Tegra2 feature, get those tegra2 supported games, a must have!
Even Galaxy S2 can't support some of the tegra2 games, imo nvidia's very cunning~).
My LG's now full with HD and tegra2 optimised games. Ahahaha...
*
Yeah, tegra pawnage is for sure, HD games is a pleasure for sure, UI need polish but not bad, Gingerbread might bring changes...praying laugh.gif

I've been waiting for the Gingerbread update.. That's the main reason why i'm still staying with rooted-only-stock ROM.
Last time heard rumour saying end of May update will be out, purchased it, then now saying between June and July pula~ Oh shit!
I've sent enquiries regarding the official date of Gingerbread update to LG. I want Gingerbread~!
*
Haha, the whole world is waiting, dunno why LG is taking their time on Gingerbread update. smile.gif

it might not cause by lg delaying, but maybe nvidia tegra2 not yet rdy with the kernel, possibility that causing lg also have to delay their delivering of GB. according to some in xda or modaco forum
*
Kernel eh, we'll have to sit and wait i guess, racing with atrix to see who's gonna taste Gingerbread 1st.

*
My phone will reach 40°C when intensive gaming but doesn't bother me thou, dint experience auto restart or auto off, for your info, i owned O2X more then 2 month and counting... smile.gif

Added on June 23, 2011, 9:29 pmIf you head over to the XDA developer Forums, you can download a service manual for the Korean Counterpart of the O2X. It incorporates the same Wolfson Audio Codec as the Optimus 2X and the schematics in the service manual clearly show, that the stereo outputs of the chip are both connected to the same physical speaker.
*
Izzit so? But its output is quite loud and clear when gaming, so it doesnt caught my attention at all about its pyshical layout lol, sorry my bad laugh.gif
