yup~~ root ur phone is just like giving u the power to do something that the developer do
u have to flash to custom rom only can increase ur performance

acuatlly it depends on u ~ both also ok ~ but custom rom will be abit better than the stock rom la, but if 2.3 out i think everyone will flash to 2.3 version
