camera focusing is based on the depth (Z) of the object, not the position (X,Y) of it. So as long as the depth does not change after u lock the focus and exposure, it will be fine

Based on my past experience, yes. But I am used to snap still objects like documents only. Other factor is not a big issue for me at that time.

First time outing can snap the sugar glider is nice, but need sometime to improve myself.
