I'm on Froyo!

The Official one..


The whole process was seamless as I've only have ADW Launcher, and obviously my various other apps which includes SetVSel, Rooted, Titanium Backup etc.. I've upgraded from Eclair 2.59 SEA version straight to Froyo Official 2.2.2
No problems except I'll just need to reroot the phone, resend my contacts over... Other than that, all my application data are all still intact..

Hope this gives an idea to any of the bros out there who wanna upgrade the "official" way

BTW, the whole process took me less than an hour.. ie 30mins to download the update, 15mins to actually update it..

Mine immediate juz like Eclair.. Even my ADW setting are all intact..

MY only complain is that it screwed up my contact where even if I restored the contacts back into the phone, I'm unable to search it especially if it's grouped differently.. Not sure where went wrong there now..

Ok one thing at a time.. Which app for me 2 get the screen shot? I never really tried taking mine..

Next, how do I extract the sbf.. Sorry I'm really noob although been having defy for so long.. Never came about to do anything especially with flashing and even backing them up.. Please drop a line or two on how to go about it and I'll try get it done


I wanted to, but my gmail is too "bloated" with other contacts.. and I will have to do something about it soon and sync with Outlook as well due to work requirements..

BTW, I used MyPhoneExplorer to backup all my contacts/sms/apps/files.. Simply because I've used it since the SE phones that I used to own..
