since the day i bought the phone, i wanted to prove its specialty but nvr dare to try soaking in water, i m skeptical. especially the mini-usb port cap, seems not as tight as the earphone jack cap. does the warranty cover faults caused by water damage? any1 got stories of defy users actually drowned their phone?
*
no worries.. me n my bro test before... we throw the phone in to the water and make call to the phone..

well.. it still works lol...

maybe u can ask ur vendor to test it for u... haha laugh.gif

ok my question here...
to all the phone owner out there... have u all try to shake the phone before?
will it make any sound? hmm.gif
my defy when i shake is like the inner part is loose shocking.gif

Regarding the shaking issue, it should be the battery rattling. You can try by putting a piece of paper or something between the battery and the cover. An if you think the earpiece is a problem, the speaker mai lagi big problem? LOL laugh.gif

Added on April 22, 2011, 11:02 pm

Thats for the secondary microphone used for noise cancelling for calls.
*
yes... the ratling sound is the battery... tried yesterday when removing sim card to my own phone...

and i nvr test soak the phone inside water with usb / audio jack rubber open... not sure if open the water will go in or not... haha dun dare to try tongue.gif

As in I don't know my way inside mid valley, not the mid valley laugh.gif

Which place in mid valley got big space with many seatings and free wifi? Mcd?
Apparently if not mistaken there's a specific way to install cm7 for it to run properly. Will post up the post I found late since im at work now and posting this one my defy laugh.gif
Mine earpiece almost failed. Sound cracks when volume is above 1/3

In the end sent back to warranty with 2.2 still installed and got it fixed thumbup.gif
*
ok will wait for your step by step guide.. haha
will revert back to froyo i guess =/

is the stock sea room from xda is the original rom for our defy? hmm.gif

Try Jboogi3's roms. They're usually good. You can find them on the first page. There's a few versions i think.
