My setting:

22/300
43/700
56/1100
will change 700mhz to 42v since urs is stable  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Mine i set

20/300
38/600
57/1000

Tried 52/1000, my phone straight away crashed and rebooted and entered a boot-loop since i enabled 'set on boot'. Removed my memory card and somehow the settings got reset so lucky for me there. Note to self: Next time when playing around with new OC adjustments, disable the 'apply on boot' laugh.gif

at 55/1000 it was unstable, at 56/1000 it was stable most of the times but occasional reboots. at 57/1000 it was stable and so far no reboots yet thumbup.gif rclxms.gif

and btw, Beta 6 is out! rclxm9.gif

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033654

Bugs said to be fixed:

Auto-brightness level transition alot smoother and quicker like the original motorola firmware's auto-level transition drool.gif
-Mic when running on speakerphone fixed (reported by forumer, still there in the bug list on the first post.)
-LED Blinks when charging (like other Android phones. Apparently Motorola is the only company that disables LED when charging)
-Battery drain issue might be fixed (didn't encounter this in beta 5.1 so no idea what does this do)
-Wifi said to be more stable than beta 5

problems reported:
- CPU usage flies to 90% if you DISABLE auto-brightness blink.gif
- some reported battery drain is higher instead

anyway, downloading now while i sleep. tomorrow wake up and flash laugh.gif

my wife's Defy can go for 3~4 days normal use also. Original ROM with motoblur, but use Go EX as launcher now.

for me sure I'll charge it daily duo to my heavy use. Always on WIFI laugh.gif

The defy should be the perfect phone phone you. Water resistant and can survive a submersion provided all the ports and covers are closed properly. And the phone don't actually look rugged at all unless you tell people it is laugh.gif

Battery life depends on your usage really. But with a 1530mah battery, it's considered one of the largest battery in an android device thumbup.gif

about motoblur, it's not supported outside the USA so you don't need to register for the service. But the motoblur widgets are still there though but just install a 3rd party launcher like launcherpro or something then you're good to go

Same like pc overclocking I guess. Different units have different performance characteristics. And CM7 beta 6 is considered 99% working already so you can use it as your everyday rom no problem.

I have using Defy for 2 weeks already but still can't get used with QWERTY keypad tongue.gif

Btw, just ROOTed my Defy. Can I just change my Eclair to Froyo?

And.. If i reset it to factory default (setting>Priv. Settings>Factory data reset), will everything goes back? Mean.. Froyo to Eclair, ROOT to UNROOT, Overclock to de-overclock?

Yes,you can upgrade to leaked Froyo following the instructions in 1st page, for the factory data reset, you can't downgrade from Froyo to Eclair, for root/unroot,I not sure but you can always unroot your defy with apps easily. For the overclock, yes I think the cpu frequency would be reset to original state biggrin.gif
