Anyone here has earpiece problem already??

I think i have to revert back to Froyo liao. So mafan have to press the screen to on the screen back. And some of the function is not ready yet also and a still got bugs. Ya, gingerbread is nice....but if got problem, using a stable Froyo is better i guess. Maybe a bit slow...but not slow until so obvious. I will wait for a final version before going back to CM7.

How i can install google maps 5.3.1? I tryed some of them but allways installation failed, i even wipe data and un-install the old one (5.0) and trying to replace, no succes.

download market enabler from the market, then enable Verizon/T-Mobile, then enter market again. there are some apps that are US specific that we dont get here normally

papago is pretty good, and uses very little data, and mostly aGPS signal only

Hi sifus,

When I set password for my 3G mobile hotspot,my iPad and other devices are blocked though I have type in the password.
But if I do not set the password,my iPad can access and surf.

Any suggestion or tip why my iPad is blocked even after I have keyed in the password. Thanks.

Yay, upgraded my Defy to Froyo.  Will consider whether to install custom ROMs or not. What's a good backup app to save my apps/data etc?

I have googled the FAQs but still cannot find solution to my issues
1. How to download apps with my data line as it get queued up. With wifi , there is no issues.
NO Idea, but me no download problem while using celcom broadband ( weekly )

2. Do I have to download adobe reader to open my pdf files, 40 kb sizes? It always hanging..
Strongly recommend to download adobe reader from market. Others can't show full contain if u try to view brochure leaflet with picture.

tyenfei: not dont have 3G. the 3G signal will drop and i will have to restart or turn airplane mode on/off. Does the link you gave me fix that?

mine wifi is pretty stable, camera flash working no probs. GPS works but takes a hell long to lock. aGPS is definitely not working.

and btw, reason i can't organise/join any gathering

damn man....the phone should be ok, but how about the human? 

tyanfei: I do not use FM radio but its fixed in 4.1. Just scared of the wifi only. GPS as long as it works what gives. I have a garmin my self. only problem is i cant be carrying my garmin in my packet all day long no? So still need GPS. I was wondering what "working but has bugs" means. Maybe today i'll flash. 

EDIT: if i backup using titanium, do i still need to download google apps?

I think i bricked my defy again. Was running CM7. Then attempted to install 3G fix and google apps. I installed through system recovery. Wrong way ah?

what does it mean why i get this

can't flash to CM7 now. Even when they say flash complete, when i select back to beboot the samething comes up then bootloop at the moto logo.

1 think crosses my mind. normally water & impact damages are strictly not covered by warranty. but how bout Defy? does the warranty is different?

When using apps like Alarm Clock Extreme or Alarm Clock Plus and you set the ringer style to increase the volume gradually in like 10s or also known as 'soft alarm', the alarm will be stuck at the lowest volume

i woke up for work late for the past few days because of this and i didn't realize it was a bug in the phone. Always thought it was just me oversleeping and didn't came to my mind at all that it was my phone alarm ringing at the lowest possible volume until i tested it out yesterday

just wanna know any of you facing this problem? If yes, does 5.1 solves it? I saw it solves the aGPS bug and that they reworked the sensors. now thinking whether to flash that or to wait until beta 6,7,8 or RC1 or wait until a stable release comes out?
