does it have red color line during camera/video mode? same with me, thought my lens got problem.. But the picture output no issue.. so, this is because of the red lens?

nope, already flash nordic froyo from stock then straightaway to miui yesterday..
really nice ui.. feel in love with it..

anyway, im new to android..

1) miui doesnt have calendar? my miui got calendar icon but cannot set event due to no calendar.. do u seen same issue?
2) how to change contact to display last name first? for example: Ahmad Abu to Abu, Ahmad.. is it possible?
3) how to apply the miui hotfix? same way on flashing miui? have try this but it stuck at moto logo only..

that hotfix just apply directly after flashed MIUI.( without reboot )

if stuck at moto logo, usually coz not wiping data.cache. dalvik..

try start all over again..

its seem 2nd init 1.8 can use already with MIUI..
no problem..

so far, spec wise (and size wise), the DEFY really value for money lah. was tempted with HTC Incredible S for a moment, but read that battery life is just so so, and also, locked bootloader as well, and at that time, not much dev working on it.

so play play with DEFY longer lor...and really cannot find a phone that can match it's value lah...

agreed..defy is really worth to buy..
