The screen just freezed, can't do anything. Except to power off and on again.

It happened once after playing for 4 hours last week.

Today it happened again after playing for just 1 hour plus.

Unfortunately it is not easy to send it back for service in Malaysa

I got this problem too when I newly bought my xbox last 3 months ago. For once or two times only. After that no more.

My xbox 360 slim 250GB never freeze on me before. I bought it 2 months ago.

M$ will be busy if everyone sends their xbox for service whenever the machine freeze once or twice.

when its freeze.. try to eject game..

What is wrong with just on off the machine?

Nothing wrong. But with Xbox 360 freezing when playing games, it's definitely something is wrong with the console and need to be checked.

freeze while you are playing games or freeze while you are at dashboard?
i have a jasper and it never freeze... except while playing games. and only 1 game that i have ever experienced this problem which is fifa11. and that's happened only when my jasper connected to live (playing online)

Yup.. I experienced it when playing Bulletstorm game only.. Hang in Act 5 chapter 2 & Act 6 Chapter 1. 5 times.. Only turn on console and play for 5 minutes.. Since update to new dashboard this happens and it a must update because want to play new games. I think this is related to the firmware issue.. I hope microsoft will fix this in up coming firmware release.

It freezed once when I play the downloaded Tomb Rider. Another time when playing Kinect Sport.

What game were you playing? Games are buggy nowadays. Some work flawlessly while others are prone to freezing.

Mine never hangs, but I did experienced "disc read" error when playing Gears of War 2, although I already install the game on the hard disk.

Mine got freezes several times even my 360 is Jasper-made. I hope it's not sign for 3 red flashing lights...

This is common issue.. Lets hope new firmware release will fix it and developer will take notice in their game to release some patch to fix it just like PC games. But this of course will burn our pocket.

I am fine if it is a software issue, even if they don't fix it.

But just worry that it is hardware related.

Just want to ask to whoever used Slim version. Is it stable and RROD free?

i am using the new slim version for past 2 months. so far so good. (1-3 hours gaming perday). no idea about the RROD though. hopefully the chances are slim compare to earlier model

Play non stop for 5 hours.. No heating issue. Very stable plus HDMI port too...
Only downturn is when play Bulletstorm, it is always hang when almost reach final chapter.. This is sucks! Change at Gamer's Hideout and still the same...

Are there anybody who doing Xbox 360 service? He may can help, my xbox have one more cooler in it.
