Wow congratz!! Nice price you got there.. It's really a bargain cause HP priced this baby really smart.. Don't worry this is much better than edge 11, at least 50% more battery life..
*

i saw a DELL Inspirion 11z in pc fair today...
1399 with 3 year warranty...

Why do you want 7200rpm in a netbook? It doesn't really give any performance boost significantly but in return you get lower battery life because of higher power consumption.. It's either SSD or stick with the default one..
*
yup...
because based on what i read somewhere in net....
the first batch their released in US came with RAM 3GB and HDD 320G 7200rpm
then they realised that many of user comment on battery life as it was not good as they advertise which is 9hour
so when the 2nd batch...they switch it to RAM 2GB and 500 5400rpm...

as for me...
i really satisfied with my new "netbook"...
but still hope that they can run a little bit "faster" when loading windows.. nod.gif

Hopfully tis coming pc fair in kuching there'll be promo on this ..
*
yeah...
i'm too feel that the price a bit too "high" for AMD zacate APU notebook tongue.gif
and i don't think HP will held such promo for this paticular model...
because it still new in malaysia market...
but as you can see in HP site..
there's still no MSRP for dm1
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/my/en/ho/WF...54-5032670.html
maybe they still reconsider the price nod.gif

QUOTE(mannequin_kl @ Apr 23 2011, 09:54 PM)

so i guessing your right...

i think every netbook should backup with extended warranty since it's more fragile than notebook..hotter and keep playing games on it.. smile.gif

add another 2gb ddr3r cost rm64 kingston lifetime warranty..hp extended another 2 years rm70 at authorised hp store level 4 lowyat

thinking of reformat and intalling win7 ultimate.. smile.gif
*
