QUOTE(mitodna @ Jun 19 2012, 02:33 AM) hot is subjective, while i don't have thermometer, this notebook, if office use, not gaming, it is quite operational, you did not feel any heat over the palm rest, but operating on top of lap is suicide mission, the major heat will be on the left, an bottom but to be honest, this laptop has the best touch pad, usable click button, keyboard is good to my liking. plus point is that HP is still the one sell 3 years on-site warranty even for this low price notebook interesting temperature, do note, it is Fahrenheit value http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?...ming+4010us&p=4Woow! That's a bit of a problem, at least to me. As for the 3-years onsite warranty, how much did you pay for it? Anyway, thank you so much for your honest info sharing.

As we all know, heat is the worst enemy of an electronic equipment.

QUOTE(Spade @ Jun 19 2012, 05:07 PM) As we all know, heat is the worst enemy of an electronic equipment. But the heat on the Dm1 is quite bad. I've had many laptops from other brands before but never experienced something like this before. Try playing a video on Youtube, you can feel the heat, hehe This post has been edited by darkcurves: Jun 19 2012, 05:36 PM

Unable to use on your lap is one of the biggest drawback for this class of laptop.
