QUOTE(lchan @ Apr 22 2011, 10:48 AM) congrats bro... QUOTE(ekestima @ Apr 23 2011, 12:35 PM) yeah...i'm too feel that the price a bit too "high" for AMD zacate APU notebook and i don't think HP will held such promo for this paticular model... because it still new in malaysia market... but as you can see in HP site.. there's still no MSRP for dm1 http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/my/en/ho/WF...54-5032670.html maybe they still reconsider the price QUOTE(mannequin_kl @ Apr 23 2011, 09:54 PM) i'm too doesn't see any intake on this new HP dm1so i guessing your right... intake from keyboard... p/s: no wonder i'm feel a little bit of heat on the vent after i put keyboard protector This post has been edited by budakdegilz: Apr 23 2011, 11:06 PM |

couple of things i dont like this notebook, firstly, the back cover flexs like a b**** when you pick it up. Worse when you pick it up from the front which is the thinner side. This flex can be bad because you can putting pressure on the rams inside when the cover flexs. secondly, the damn touch pad could be better. the left and right buttons...they should not be trackable. Meaning, you can actually move the mouse pointer over the surface of the left and right button. problem to those like me who puts our left thumb over the left button while the right index finger moves on the pad. This confuses the touch pad.

Actually, I find the notebook to be adequate in term of quality vs. price. I bought one for my staff and it is "good enough". I think the Thinkpad x120E should be better in the overall sturdiness of the exterior casing. However, it is not here yet. I doubt it would be at RM1499......
For me, I like the new touchpad and I have used it. It may take some time to get used to it, but I prefer a large surface for touchpad.
