I don't wanna spend to much. terima kasih banyak banyak....!!!! the performance quite ok walaupun u open many browser (because i'm using 4gb of ram).. but the heat of course really hot (need air cooler).. Doing programming not for 1 or 2 hour.. for me almost 15 - 17 hours.. second thing its AMD. between dm1 and 13Z.. my suggestion better gor for 13Z.. the processor for 13Z quite good i3 + DVD + 13" LCD.. i think the dm1z runs pretty cool on your lap. the reason is that the bottom has no vents. This is awesome when you use it on the bed or sofa. but without doubt, the processor runs hot and you can feel it at the vent. however, because of its base design, it doesnt feel hot when on your lap.

I checked the specs for some of their netbooks and it has this line....
- Microsoft Office 2010 (Purchase a Product Key to activate a full Microsoft Office 2010 suite.)
What does it mean? It sounds like it comes with MS Office but you cant use it unless you buy a product key?

They should try to shed about 300g for this new one. My dm1-4000 is kinda heavy for a 11inch laptop.

I've saw the spec. But E-450 vs E-1200 what is the diffrent? Only clock speed right? Means E450 is better. It seams like a downgrade.

Hi guys, is this DM1 still running warm ever after a new revision (that come with Brozos 2.0)?
I know the newly launched APU is basically the same as the old E-Series APU but just wonder if HP take this opportunity to improve DM1 heat dissipation when they upgrade it with Brazos 2.0 (E1 or E2 APU).

Thank you for a very honest info sharing. I have a hunch that 18W APU in that small chasis could be a recipe for disaster but I also thought that HP might have take that into account while designing the system. But after reading your post, now I am not so sure about what HP has done all this while. Thanks again bro.

hot is subjective, while i don't have thermometer, this notebook, if office use, not gaming, it is quite operational, you did not feel any heat over the palm rest, but operating on top of lap is suicide mission, the major heat will be on the left, an bottom but to be honest, this laptop has the best touch pad, usable click button, keyboard is good to my liking. plus point is that HP is still the one sell 3 years on-site warranty even for this low price notebook interesting temperature, do note, it is Fahrenheit value http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?...ming+4010us&p=4
