Is this anime have any connection to the original series? Dio in the original series kinda turn into mad man already. This dio in season ok already?

Well, the only thing I understand is that the people from the first series boarded the exile (migration ship) and became the last one to come back to earth in the 2nd series (hence, last exile)

Fam takes place a few years after the first series and Dio survived. other familiar faces should be popping up soon since we've already seen Tatiana and Allister, who boarded the immigration ship (exile) together with Claus, Lavie, Alvis, Mullin and Dunya.

they are probably not the last ones to come back to earth because there are quite a number of space colonies out there besides Prester. although, they late by 65 years because they've forgotten the existence and true purpose of Exile.

yea. i really missed the story flow of the first last exile because the current one is kinda like a yuri anime. if Millia in a maid dress is anything to go by, the show is turning into a fan service anime. and we have a loli as Ades Federation's empress. lolwat

by the way, also do check out the Last Exile - Sunadokei no Tabibito manga. it bridges the gap between the first and second series and we get to see more Immelmann Turns on earth.

Ok. Claus and Alvis going to appear in the next episode.

The next episode is going to be the second flashback episode (episode 15.5 - Second Adjournment) but this time to refresh our memories of the events of the first Last Exile anime.

This probably only means one thing; the high likeability that Claus and Lavie making their appearances right after the flashback (hopefully) or if not, then probably in the episode after that (Ep. 16). Maybe soon we'll get to see Sophia and some of the Silvana crew members who chose to stay behind in the Anatoray-Disith space colony visiting earth.
