Whats a good cheap sub to pair with swans d1080 mkII? considering the price of the speakers are rm500, my budget is about rm300-400. Does subwoofers go that low used? and if so, got any places in KL that sell them?

QUOTE(hushymushy @ Jan 14 2015, 09:08 AM) you are not getting enough bass? want to improve a little on the bass. feels kinda weak compare to the highs and mids of the d1080.

QUOTE(hushymushy @ Jan 14 2015, 09:27 PM) welll....mind sharing your entire setup and how you place the speakers? pix would be good » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Potato camera but that is how it is right now. Maybe gonna diy a speaker rack to keep them level with my ears. Input is from PC>USB>aune t1>speakers.

QUOTE(hushymushy @ Jan 16 2015, 12:24 PM) from the looks of it (if you don't mind me being honest), the speakers are a bit too near the rear wall and putting the speakers on the table as oppose to a proper stand.....the impact is quite great a sub would help in your scenario...but you need to be wary of the sub pace, low pass frequency and high pass frequency roll offs....it might bring your music to a slow down pace.... perhaps an 8" sub might be sufficient No worries, be vicious on the comments if you want. So things to do to improve on my acoustics right now are: 1. Add distance from rear wall to speaker. 2. Get a proper stand. Because starting sub pace I dont understand a single thing after that. To google I go! This post has been edited by amirinz: Jan 16 2015, 02:23 PM

QUOTE(GI Jie @ Jan 16 2015, 07:21 PM) This is what I meant: Alright. This is the IO for a sub right? Do you have any recommendation for a 8 inch sub that will work with the d1080 and under rm400?
