heard good reviews on the MBL although i haven't got the chance to hear it in person

i have fond memories of previous MBL amps and the remind me how refined and precise one amp can make....
very clean and transparent amp....not sure if the sound character has changed since then.

strangely they pair with AR CD6 as that might not be a good match....
nevertheless.....the MBL sound signature is very strong and needs proper matching

good experience though to listen to those Germans.....
its not easy to audition in MY....

@GI Jie , you may have acquired taste for Passlabs...hehehehehehe

Topet...Aida's come with premium request for top notch amps...hehehehe

GI Jie ...i won't want another system with ARC.... needs to be something different
needs to be budget with high end sound output

unless ARC VTi60 comes at a good price...which i doubt so

even sonerin Musical Paradise oredi 8k++ and then plus speakers and cables will be sub 10k+++
too expensive for study room

Topet am sure at KLIAV ... Perfect HiFi will probably bring the Aida's again

Venere actually i don't quite like it... i'd choose Grand Piano or Luito over Venere anytime

honestly....i'd skip the lower ends and go straight for Cremona / Olympica

Topet if you really want to go into SF....you can consider previous Home or Domus series

Concertino and Concerto Domus are quite good....and of coz the Grand Piano

Grand Piano used good condition should fetch roughly 6k to 7k now

GI Jie Stradivari is way different level compared to GP....hehehehe its like 10x the price...of coz the sound will be different lor

i have listened to the Elipsa powered by Mcintosh MC275 power amps x 2 (basically bridge to become monoblocks), MC preamp and cd player....
it sounds almost close to the Stradivari....fills up a big hall easily
and the low bass is just amazing....needs quite alot of power though
