QUOTE(hebe87 @ Aug 30 2011, 04:39 PM) I believe it is due to the automatic changing from 2g to 3g network in your area which results in this problem. To solve this, simply force your phone to use 2G network only by selecting "GPRS/EDGE" instead of using "automatic" setting, (I assume that 2G signal is stronger than 3G signal in puchong area.) celcom 2g signal is strong... almost everywhere... and seeing umobile oso sharing celcom's signal... if on 2g, no worries... you can get it everywhere and your problem would sure be during the switch between 2g to 3g... here's how de line got dropped... |

QUOTE(Quantum_thinking @ Sep 1 2011, 02:19 PM) Anyway, i prefer to avoid post paid as i really do not like the telco to simply bill and we have to pay later. If use prepaid, we can always know if there is something wrong about the bill if the credit is not enough or drain too fast. ya... i agreed but now izit all telco gives prepaid broadband? sorry to ask as i din check on all the telco tho... |

QUOTE(kazarboys @ Sep 6 2011, 12:32 AM) icic, so if i reload RM30 i will get 90 days and also 15% extra credit rite. i wud say get a um simpack to try it out... just rm8 only... if confirmed your area got line, then only mnp ur no. over to umobile else once u mnp, u r stucked with umobile already... and if no signal there, u cant even call out... unless u r saying celcom oso no line there lar... hahaa! but celcom on 2g signal, they are quite strong there all around nationwide... i scared my area no line should i mnp 1st or get a um simpack n test it out 1st? |

QUOTE(dasonyeoh @ Sep 10 2011, 07:18 PM) Hopefully the Line reception is not that bad as DIGi, coz i'm using Digi -company line = sucks to max- Phone calls can be ended anytime. I totally agree wif u on digi... abt the connection some say good n some say bad, it's very well area dependent... if ur area is good, de speed u'll b getting will be good as well... Reading the thread, some say has good connection, same say sucks so if u ask me, I wud say try to test out in ur area that u'll b using ur bb most of de time, if de signal is good... u'll b getting good speed 4 sure... no worries... |
