guys UM launchpad lately their new POSTPAID plan

which is very nice

however , i want some clarification

why UM the company put more goodies in the postpaid and not prepaid

as we know, PREpaid , the company can secure their money . etc.

but in postpaid, their money will come back after 1 month ..

is there is any thing hidden from us as customers

as i got my prepaid, which is rather ok

but the postpaid, got more internet data + SMS

any idea ??

and now using prepaid 28rm

how ever , i saw this 28rm post paid

it`s still not clear to me

Um needs more coverage improvment

If they follow a better policy than maxis

They can be the kings of the market

However now they r still thinking in the mentality of amateur players

Eg I was looking through the crazy offers by different telecos

And eg celcom cheapest package of internet is 88 rm for 1 gb

Plus contract 1 year or 18 month

For sure all people will buy from them

U know in usa

At&t launched their iphone 4 sales with only a price of 299$ (900rm ) but internet package was 1 year minimum ..

Do u know how many pieces of sales ?

1.2 million ip4 was sold

But in asia ... They try to sell the phone was almost the same price with a stupid package

Sure overall sales will be low

For instance

When htc desire hd was launched the teleco offered the phone for 1999 rm plus 1 year contract of 68rm per month ...

So expensive

I went lowyat bought from there for only 1560 rm

I am using now um and its cheap n nice

No need for gay contract

So sorry to say that the marketing policy in asia still following the old china policy

And more over there is no wise marketing consultant in these teleco
