I had been using 3g watchdog to monitor my data usage for internet prepaid but found it to be incorrect twice already. Anyone using it and found it to report correctly data usage.

I just bought a umobile simpack + rm30 topup. Activation done by dialing *118# and then send name & ic number...only took less than 1 minute to get activation confirmation.

Now I would test the mobile internet on umobile for my galaxy tab p-7500

Have you registered thru *118# by keying your name & ic number. You should receive a sms confirmation your line is actice in few minutes only after sending the information. I bought my sim pack from 7-Eleven store, they will not do the registration for you like other shop which will request your id card or record your name & ic number.

If you done it yourself by dialing *118# it will took less than minute as what I did. Simple process...slot in your newly bought sim card into your hphone and dial the number...later just follow instruction to keyed in your name as in your ic follow by your ic number.

14 hours is too long to wait, they really took their time to register it for you.

check your area coverage as Umobile coverage is limited...in klang valley is ok but I dont think there is 3G coverage up north for Umobile. You will regret getting the Umobile if cannot connect to internet but for call I think you may use Umobile.

Send message to 28118 with written message "Data" inside it (without "").

If you mean your credit balance than just type Credit inside the message and sent to 28118....or if you mean your data usage than type Data inside the message and sent to 28118.

Slot your sim card inside your hpones and dial *118#

Follow instruction to key in full name and ic number.
