Uhmmm this quota not only check for internet but call time and sms right?

uhmmm means apps to capture internet usage, call time and sms is useful.
*
to check the call time and sms is *118*3*1*3#
for UMI package (prepaid)

postpaid U28 still *118*2*3#

they did mention bout only carried forward upon successfully renewed, so no problem with this

so the problem is u can't top up in time due to their system problem, so it is just like something u complain TM that u can't access Unifi suddenly and lost a few hundred RM business, i think we can guess whats the result

i am using umi28 for 1 of my umobile prepaid line also ..i think already half year.. every month i will finished up the sms + even extra use few. but call min my usage will be around 80-120 min a months. so far i still always hv balance to carry forward to next month and nothing to burn ...data finish in around week 3~4 before the renew date.

this month i left 70min , 22 sms before my next 19 renew this month.
*
they make this UMI28 plan to suit most of the users experience 1, use more mins just go to UMI 38
use more data just go to UMI 48

very very light user UMI18, fair enough

so far umobile focus on their service on the VOICE plan DATA
working hard on BROADBAND package too for now..
just the line for calling sometimes experiencing problems due to the half MVNO

so i think the rating in DATA is much more higher than any telco for now

Last time my uncle's U-mobile number didn't reload for 4 months ++, not only the number not being terminated, but also still able to make calls. Eventhough this is not the best deal in town, but still can satisfy those people who seldom make a phone calls.

I was satisfied with U-mobile prepaid for about half year, until recently they do something different that I feel being cheated.

For U-mobile prepaid subscribers, every time we reload we entitle for free call to other u-mobile subscriber for 60 minutes a day. Let say we reload RM30, in the coming 30 days, we have 60mins free calls each day (except 7pm to 12am at 6cents per min) to other U-mobile subscribers. If we sign up data plan, let say the U28, we can have another 100 mins free calls to NON U-mobile subscriber. It used to be like this for quite a long time. Until recently I found out it's no longer the same. The U-mobile to U-mobile calls minutes is now deducted from the 100 minutes as well! Means that in worst scenario if my first 100mins calls are made to other U-mobile subscribers, I didn't have any extra free calls for signing up the data plan.

I miss the smooth data speed that U-mobile used to be. With RM28 a month I can experience the speed of Unifi (before quota ends), some more with free calls and sms, why not? But now I don't sign data plan anymore since I couldn't fully utilize the free 100 mins calls.

I'm not saying U-mobile is the worst. It is still a better choice than many other telco providers, but just wanna say it is no longer the best.

very true heart opinion from an experienced user, at least we know that telcos can be MUCH MORE BETTER than what they are offering now, but when PROFIT is put at the top of everything else, the cruel fact comes out.

Hi,

It was a new number, he never reload before for more than 4 months...
Sorry, the best deal in town should be 365 days validity for FREE with only min RM10 top up. Then you have another 90 days before the number expired...
Don't ask me which provider is it as I'm not their sales representative. Simply use google search you should be able to see which provider I means.

In my mindset, prepaid is always better than postpaid. Today, let say provider A is the best, doesn't mean after few months it will still be the best. When it is no longer the best, then I can consider port out my number to another provider. No contract, no bill, nothing to worry about. You want to earn more money from me with the same service? Sorry, I go for another provider with better deal.
*
yup we do earn more by selling POSTPAID service but there is for sure a difference between prepaid and postpaid

so they try to earn more money with the SAME service doesn't exist, prepaid suits u most not necessary same to others who need lots of calling and enjoy 10cents /min with add on package right ?

i called up u-mobile, it says can do ownership transfer, but really true or not? i don't want to be traped porting in, then need to port out again just simply cannot do ownership transfer.
*
both owner presents at the center then can do the ownership transfer

QUOTE(oneeleven @ Sep 15 2013, 07:39 PM)
What's the name of this deal, and the time limit? I just topped up $50. Is the first step $10 necessary in
this case?
*
actually this deal expired already but it is still on for now...

u just call any IDD number, we here all call to US google ,for few seconds, then TOP UP
then call any IDD number again. within 24 hours u will receive ur extra 15% credits

but not guaranteed since this deal no more valid @ website already, last time stated expired around March, but mostly still on for now.

Because from the first post :
'RM28 per month!
there's a catch...
u its RM28+10
cause u need to reload RM10 for the phone line validity of 30days
or another option reload RM30 for 90days validity '

That's why I thought have to reload rm38...kekeke rclxub.gif
*
when you reload 28 to get the UMI 28 plan already got the 30 days validity la haha

thanks, so its not 2 different number with share 1 quota of 3gb?
*
INTERNET SHARE PLAN SP68 = 2 sims, 2 different numbers sharing 1 quota = 3gb 60mins, if wan 3rd and following sims just add RM 10 each, then become 3 sims or 4 sims sharing 1 quota = 3gb 60mins

another 1 is MIFI modem can share 5 devices with 1 sim caard

what is mnp?

mobile number portability

meaning PORT your current number into U-mobile without changing ur number

so nowadays 017 016 019 013 ppl might be U mobile users as well after they ported into it

u may port 2 numbers into u mobile with 2 main lines or into Internet Share Plan 68 also

actually really should the promoter explain how the NEXT subscription should work which is auto renewed preset
since local common sense is we expect and prefer it auto renew whenever we keep enough credits inside, this is a case that U mobile MIGHT or MIGHT NOT response, but with previous experience we can expect whats the result shakehead.gif

I really love how cheap Umobile offers.. but the oversea coverage is terrible.. I'm using the prepaid for 2 years and just discovered that there is no oversea coverage for prepaid at all.. So, I have to change to other telco just to allow me to receive calls and msgs while I'm in oversea.. If this improved.. then I will stick with Umobile for sure..
*
that means nothing is perfect , so enjoy what's good in it and enjoy another telco for what's good in that, we hope there is more smart user like you make the choice and less complain thumbup.gif
