uhmmm means apps to capture internet usage, call time and sms is useful.

using u28..currently working at bangsar.. mostly line internet E! in office

H+ bile keluar office..cilakak.

i am using umi28 for 1 of my umobile prepaid line also ..i think already half year.. every month i will finished up the sms + even extra use few. but call min my usage will be around 80-120 min a months. so far i still always hv balance to carry forward to next month and nothing to burn ...data finish in around week 3~4 before the renew date.

this month i left 70min , 22 sms before my next 19 renew this month.

Last time my uncle's U-mobile number didn't reload for 4 months ++, not only the number not being terminated, but also still able to make calls. Eventhough this is not the best deal in town, but still can satisfy those people who seldom make a phone calls.

I was satisfied with U-mobile prepaid for about half year, until recently they do something different that I feel being cheated.

For U-mobile prepaid subscribers, every time we reload we entitle for free call to other u-mobile subscriber for 60 minutes a day. Let say we reload RM30, in the coming 30 days, we have 60mins free calls each day (except 7pm to 12am at 6cents per min) to other U-mobile subscribers. If we sign up data plan, let say the U28, we can have another 100 mins free calls to NON U-mobile subscriber. It used to be like this for quite a long time. Until recently I found out it's no longer the same. The U-mobile to U-mobile calls minutes is now deducted from the 100 minutes as well! Means that in worst scenario if my first 100mins calls are made to other U-mobile subscribers, I didn't have any extra free calls for signing up the data plan.

I miss the smooth data speed that U-mobile used to be. With RM28 a month I can experience the speed of Unifi (before quota ends), some more with free calls and sms, why not? But now I don't sign data plan anymore since I couldn't fully utilize the free 100 mins calls.

I'm not saying U-mobile is the worst. It is still a better choice than many other telco providers, but just wanna say it is no longer the best.

It was a new number, he never reload before for more than 4 months...
Sorry, the best deal in town should be 365 days validity for FREE with only min RM10 top up. Then you have another 90 days before the number expired...
Don't ask me which provider is it as I'm not their sales representative. Simply use google search you should be able to see which provider I means.

In my mindset, prepaid is always better than postpaid. Today, let say provider A is the best, doesn't mean after few months it will still be the best. When it is no longer the best, then I can consider port out my number to another provider. No contract, no bill, nothing to worry about. You want to earn more money from me with the same service? Sorry, I go for another provider with better deal.

i called up u-mobile, it says can do ownership transfer, but really true or not? i don't want to be traped porting in, then need to port out again just simply cannot do ownership transfer.

What's the name of this deal, and the time limit? I just topped up $50. Is the first step $10 necessary in
this case?

how is the umobile coverage now.
have it improve over the past 1 year?

I really love how cheap Umobile offers.. but the oversea coverage is terrible.. I'm using the prepaid for 2 years and just discovered that there is no oversea coverage for prepaid at all.. So, I have to change to other telco just to allow me to receive calls and msgs while I'm in oversea.. If this improved.. then I will stick with Umobile for sure..

Any way to reload credit using credit card?

Dont know how U-mobile charge for data, i thought is 10cent per MB?
