how can i disable intel Speedstep in window 7? i cant find this option in my bios. mobo as in my sign... Edit: found out it will disable it by turning off d EIST n C1E in the bios... and also, will a oc proc can cause program to stop running? (games mainly)...i only get d games exe. stop responding after oc it and i din even get bsod... Just test using Prime95 and it seems tat my 2nd core (CPU#1) ended the test few seconds after begin...does this means my 2nd core is defected(hardware failure detected)? prime95 is running fine on d 2 core at stock speed @1.3125V..i only configure the bus speed to 220x15 = 3.3Ghz.. Pentium D 925  ...gonna try to oc 1 time b4 moving on...  is there a limit of Vcore that i can pump into d proc? coz now im using 1.425V but still unable to prime 2nd core.. now testing at 3.1ghz @ 1.325vcore, it fail at 5th prime test, but at 3.15ghz and above, it cant...i even try d vcore to 1.52..but ended up bsod...too much voltage can end up bsod also? well,it seems fine wit 3.1ghz playing games...but it suxs tat it can only do so low  ...the pc owner problem  but 1 thing i get from this is that it was quite fun to mess around in order to achieve a stable speed...
