QUOTE(mikelanding @ Jan 9 2007, 11:21 PM) err..I tried with those 105cfm fan (damn noisy) on XP-120 before....not much improvement... 1-3C drops but the noise is unbearable for me... owh then in term of dropping the temp ,lapping the xp120 back oso wont reduce much ek?hmm hope i can make it decrease the temp with high cfm fan, lapping back, top blow hole n air flow in the casing..

QUOTE(rockmaniac85 @ Jul 31 2007, 04:46 PM) it supports 667MHz rams, coz, initially, all processor don't have fsb that exceeds 333MHz, rite? we are the one who oc'ed it to more than that.. that's where the problem lies.. the lowest divider *IS* indeed 1:1 in Gigabyte 965P-DS3 mobo.. thanx for clarifying it kucingfight i think my proc reached the wall larr, coz when i put 500MHz fsb, i already set the rams timings to 5-5-5-15... sigh, i think i'll work on this more this weekend.. im kinda busy now.. so how max stable urs proc doin now?primin orthos for how long?try burn in ur proc n ram 1st..perhaps later u can try higher

QUOTE(rockmaniac85 @ Jul 31 2007, 07:17 PM) it boots on 500fsb, but orthos not stable 3 sec and i got a hardware rounding error. my HSF is intel stock wan. planning to change, at the moment eyeing the TT Big Typhoon VX. Apart from TT, what other HSF is good ah? max stable not sure, probably 430x7 lar, orthos 6 hrs lebey no prob.. when i kick my fsb to 450, orthos will get the 3sec hardware rounding error.. Think my temperature is the cause ah? PS: edited, Vcore at 1.87V mmg gila lar yeah its better to change to 3rd party hsf when on oc..geminiII,noctuacan consider as gud hsf..u can try up abit ur vcore then increase abit ur fsb..if 500 cant prime stable, try lower its abit..myb 495..oc need try n error to find ur stable fsb ..gud luck
