I have a Marrantz 1501 running with Mordaunt Short Centre and Side Speakers. I have been disappointed with the sound, particularly through the TV and think its only just OK with DVD music and films. I have tried to see if I can adjust the settings to reduce the base and increase treble to give me a 'sharper' sound but cannot find anything in the menu that will allow me to do this. Is there anything further I can try of do I just go looking for an alternative receiver.
