Planning to go on two weeks holidays with my boyfriend, and I need prevention. According to my app, my period will be coming on the second week of our holidays. So, I don't think Marvelon or Diane will work for me (these pills need to be taken during my period). Now, I'm looking into emergency contraceptive pills/morning after pills or Norcolut (delay period).

Should I buy/consume morning after pills for 14 days in a row? I know it's highly not recommended but I have friends who do that, so I'm just putting this out there. Or, should I stick to Norcolut? Since the pharmacist at Watson did told me that this will help delay my period (with low chance of getting pregnant) and can take the morning after pill while I'm on Norcolut.

Any advice?

Thanks

Everyone has their own preferences, whether they like to use "rubber" or not. Obviously I know using "rubber" is the best (well, most recommended) method for prevention. But, I'd like to explore other alternatives without using the "rubber" method, which is why I'm asking here.

You've been taking pills for so many times, time for ur bf to use rubber once in a while. share responsibility. Too much pills very bad for your hormone regulation. PCOS or pregnancy difficulties may happen in future

Uhm, I've only taken two morning after pills (months apart) in my whole life, and we did use rubber also. And, I wouldn't be asking a single opinion from anyone if I or my boyfriend wasn't being responsible. Was he concerned I'll be taking so much morning after pill if I choose that method? Of course he is.

*sigh* Getting a little tired explaining myself and I'm only asking for advice who have experiences with these pills or this situation.

Ah I think I misunderstood, sorry  notworthy.gif Your first post sound like you're bearing this responsibility on your own maybe that's why the other replies are also in the same manner.
Coming back to ur q, I've never heard b4 of taking the morning pills 14 days in a row, sounds scary to me  shocking.gif
But my gf tried before taking the pills only on the morning after sex, while also using a contraceptive patch, pretty useful - it releases synthetic estrogen and progestin hormones to prevent pregnancy

That's fine. Sorry aswell if I'm being defensive in my previous post.

Back to the topic, where can I buy those contraceptive patch? I've never had anyone (friends or family) using it before.

if you are on daily dose of Marvelon or Diane, just continue taking the next dose of Marvelon or Diane after 21 days without waiting the 7 days drug free periods to delay the menstrual. This way you will be protected too.

Unfortunately, I'm not using either and it's too late to use it now (since I will be on period during the second week of my holidays).
