Can just go to pharmarcy and buy directly. But BCP not cheap tho. Well Yaz is Rm50 per pack What about other brand ? does anyone has the pricing I dont know about pricing, but heard Yaz is the most expensive. Mentioned in this thread was Mercilon n Diane. After some googling, found that Diane got some bad review. |

Wow thank you for the complete answer. Well this is new to me, and im afraid it will make my hormons haywire. Will buy the pack today!
The reaaon why so many ppl are ignorant about this topic is because lack of sex education. Even in pre marital course they don't explain much of family planning. One have to google and ask forums to get answers on BCP. |

Hi there or anyone,
Aha! I started using Yasmin and now is my free tablet interval. The interval started last Sunday and my period just came today (Wed). My period has been delayed about 6 days (normal cycle 30 days and it is regular) and will it affect the next period due? If it resumes to 30days cycle, then I'll be on my period on 27 May. I don't want this to be my period day because I want to Since I'm taking Yasmin, I got acne on my forehead and it does not help with the skin condition. Yesterday, I got terrible headache and today the period came. I guess that was the side effect because before this I never had any headache. |

QUOTE(spunkberry @ Mar 30 2013, 10:48 PM) if you started taking the pill when you were supposed to (on the first Sunday after or on your period), then just continue to take the pill normally, daily and at the same time. If you're really concerned that your period will arrive during your honeymoon, then just stack the pill (meaning, don't take the tablet-free week). Take the pill continuously. Well thanks for the advice! I'm sorry you're having acne issues, every woman reacts differently to the pill. It may help you to do some facial cleansing and moisturizing Means that I just need to focus my cleansing regime more on my face now. Anyway i'll keep on posting here if I got more side effects. |

Hi Katusha, your intention is good for sharing what had happened to you and I'm sorry to hear about your complications. However as what Spunkberry said, the side effects vary from one individual to another.
Some people said that pills cause them infertility without providing their medical history. They might have infertility before they consumed pills. Take a look at your menstrual cycle. Some have regular, some irregular, some people have their menses once in 6 months. Same goes to hormones in our body. Like myself, I have more body hairs, back acne, and regular menses. My hormones will not be the same as my sister or any other person. I've taken pills for two months and back acne reduced, body hair still the same (I wish to slow the growth Pills are safe same with IUDs. What you girls need to do is know your body well. Take note of changes, examine all little details that you might overlook. Take closer look at your menses (the heaviness of flow, color, duration, symptoms, PMSes, etc). Take crash course of biology with google. Consult gynecologist and you can also visit any clinics that offer services for women's health. This post has been edited by Sizty: Apr 8 2013, 11:27 AM |

QUOTE(2327 @ Jun 6 2013, 06:09 PM) I am recently taking Yaz 28 and it is still the first out of 3 packs. It's not for the sake of birth control but recommended by my Gynea doc which i complaint that i have severe menstrual pain in these recent years. It is suspected that i am having Endometriosis and being precribed 3 packs of Yaz 28. I'm experiencing the same thing when I took Yaz (minus the lost appetite part). Now I'm trying Diane 35 but Pharmacist told me this brand is now restricted due to several complaints from customers in US.I have started the first pack on my first day period as told by the Gynea doc and it fell on Thursday. After tomolo, i will be starting to take the inactive pill. Here's my concern: Usually i have 7 days of menstruation. After the first day of my period (first day of taking Yaz) until now, i am experiencing bleeding. Of course for the first 7 days it was like an usual menstruation, nothing much different with the common cycle. Anyway, light bleeding continued afterwards. Is it normal for ahving the so called "Breakthrough Bleeding" for such a long time non-stop? Also, i am experiencing breast tenderness recently, just happened for a week plus. It's pain even if i touched it politely. Is that normal too? I lost appetite, feel tired easily and having shoulder pain, backache and headache. Are all these side effects of taking Yaz? |

QUOTE(2327 @ Jun 7 2013, 04:40 PM) Why would you changed to Diane? Because I got pimples on the forehead and jaw when I took Yazmin. Then decided to change to Diane to get beautiful skin on my wedding day. Now the reception is over and I want to see gynea on the best contraceptive for me (i am thinking to do implants and hormone shots).I was thinking to finish the 3 packs given. Thinking by the time i finished all, i guess all the side effects would go away??? The side effects would go away once your body and the hormones can regulate systematically (I guess). Because before we take pills the hormones have their own pace and settings, when we consume the pills, some hormone will increase while other decrease (vice versa). It all depends on individual and the kind of pills they consume. This post has been edited by Sizty: Jun 8 2013, 01:09 PM |
