Just my opinion, I prefer P3 over P4 because of the way Personas are summoned over P4 ever hope.(some lame cards.)
Though P4 is much more easier to fill up all social links though compared to P3.

in order to summon persona,you need to tame your inner self/shadow first (quoted from igor,regarding the origin of persona,which is actually persona is just a tamed shadow)
