Virus/Malware what is syncguid.dat?, is it a virus??malware?

i discovered an annoying file in my external drive.....is it a malware or something that related to media codec file??

.dat file not necessary will be virus or malware... As it could be created by alot of programme..

Based on my readings on Google, it could be related to media codec file. Anyways, is there anything dodgy been happening to your computer lately?

nope..it's just that the file can't be deleted....i like to kept my external drive clean from any rubbish file like *.xml , *.ini
