The seller is not a LYN member. But would just like to inform/warn other forumers here (and maybe also to rant..hehe)

Seller you are complaining against:
cutekoreanstyle

Item being sold/bought: contact lens

Original thread link:
http://cutekoreanstyle.blogspot.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/cutekoreanstyle

Date of transaction: 13 April 2011

Details of the complaint :

Bought 2 pairs of contact lens from this blog.

1st of all, asked about the item n the seller said ok, bank in money. After the money was transferred, the seller informed the lens are out of stock in will send it out in a few days.

2nd, item was received in a Pos Ekspress plastic bag with a FRAGILE sticker on it. Inside, the contact lens are in their original box, wrapped with 1 layer of newspaper. No padding was added to protect the items. Short to say, the item was damaged. The sellers were contacted and I was told to claim from Pos Malaysia because it is not their responsibility.

Here's what he wrote on his Facebook Profile:

QUOTE
Tya dorang Mcm mana brg tu blh Rosak/Pecah..
Segala tanggungjawap terletak ...atas POSLAJU sebab kita dah Byr Service dia..
Harap Cstmor Memahami.. Thanks! ♥

Basically, these sellers/shop are very irresponsible people. How can they claim that the item was well packed when the product packaging is made of glass?!. And finally he just asks to claim from poslaju. Its obvious that at the end of the day, all they care about is making money. This is the last time they'll get mine. mad.gif

Would another layer of newspaper really make a difference? hmm.gif

There was no bubble wrap or any other forms of protection. It was sent using the pos ekspress plastic bag.

Pls refer to the first line of the thread. The seller is not a LYN member. I'm just informing other members about these irresponsible sellers who refuse to take responsibility for their own mistakes.

Anyone who has used courier services before will know that the packages are always handled roughly even with the fragile sticker on the packaging. It is definitely up to the seller to ensure that the packaging is reasonably thick to withstand the shipping process. These sellers have been around since 2009 so they definitely cannot play ignorant. That is why I say that their only interest is making money.

The issue is that did anyone else complain about him/her. I guess it would be fair enough to let them know that this thread existed.

The seller handle the stuff themselves or their employee handle for them? hmm.gif

In the picture, there is no way all the cap and metal come undone like that through shipping. These lens caps are extremely difficult to remove and are sealed tight. You opened them? Or did someone in transit open them? Pic is not representative of damage done 'in shipping' if so.

The real damage is crack on bottom of the left lens right? Did the liquid spill out?

Anyway I purchase these types of lenses too - not the shop specifically but they are usually shipped like that. Pos Ekspres, wrapped in newspaper but no damage.

The seller should refund you at least for that one damaged lens. Maybe it would be better if you didn't open them. Good luck.

Better to get contact lens from licensed optometrist. Don't risk your eyes for something cheape, a lot of the brands are not registered with Food and Drug Administration.

Pls view this video.
