our current squad is not good enough.the only world class player is tv,nasri, cesc and rvp(the glass man).besides them, no one got winning mentality.

You want an all star squad?

IMHO an extremely good core players (maybe 5 or 6) along with several good players is good enough to be a title winning side. The most important things is grit. That one come from big heart, hard works and then experiences.

It was really an unlucky call. Big Big decision there and had we gone 4-2 up then Spurs would have been beaten. My initial reaction it was onside but even with replays it was inconclusive. What a strike that was. It swerved in the final moment which is why Gomes appeared to have dived the other way. Something ala Henry's rocket which beat Roy Caroll when we played Man Utd last time. To win Cups sometimes you need the rub of the green, decisions to go your way, sadly that wasn't the case during our most crucial games this year. In fact I can't even recall a single "big" call which went our way at all in all our "big" and "important" games this year.

hate to excuse ourselves with the word unlucky but that's what happened. This game, vs Sunderland and vs Newcastle all have terrible calls from the officials.

I'm sure gonna get a lot of flak for saying this & I've told this to those who would listen, including my friend vandetta_10, that Arsenal lost it's fast break game, or the Arsenal sprint relay team style of attacking that was very evident during the Henry-Viera-Pires era becoz of Fabregas. To me, Fabregas actually like to hold the ball & wait, wait & then wait summore before unleashing a normally amazing pass. But that has taken the speed of counterattacks away from Arsenal's game. We used to be able to catch opponent defences off-guard with our speed, but now the opposite has happened. It's just the Fabregas way of playing...

I concur with StarGhazzer on this. The slowing down is not down to Cesc but the game of the attackers. Strikers/attackers train the midfielders to their habit.
Arshavin and Wallcot might be able to do what Pires/Ljungberg do but it seem Arshavin has lost a pace or two and out of form while Walcott hasn't reached such level of play.
Another point to consider is nowadays teams defend much better and are more compact as a unit.

Leeds created great academy that produce great players until they decide to spend big and then implode financially - this Arsenal don't do

Nottingham keep changing manager and never scale the same height again - this Arsenal don't do

Both the cause of their failing is what Arsenal resisting to do now.
