Big credits to Bacary Sagna.

He kept Bale quiet for 45 minutes, he kept Lennon invisible until force to change to the other side.

But the midfield defending is really weak on the 2nd goal conceded.

Somehow i feel with Diaby Arsenal can play better. Diaby did lose the ball several times for nothing but he was the reason why Nasri can score 2nd goal for Arsenal. Everyone was charging to him leaving Nasri totally unmarked.

That rvp offside thing is really close call. No camera angle was suitable to see if he was really offside or not. But still i have no idea how did he shoot the ball

Anyway regarding the penalty stuff cause by Sczesny, Sagna pushes up really high which cause him to be caught but what happen to the offside trap? The player is like 5-10 yards away from Sagna. Even if Sagna get caught, the CB wasn't even close when Sczseny drop Lennon hmm.gif

Arsene Wenger has warned Arsenal supporters not to expect dramatic changes to the playing staff this summer at Emirates Stadium.

Unless both Manchester United and Chelsea slip up in the final five games of the season, Arsenal appear destined for a sixth season without a trophy having suffered a loss of form in all competitions in recent months.

Though they are currently on a 16-game unbeaten run in the league, a run of draws has damaged the club's aspirations and it has been reported in recent weeks that big changes could be planned.

Players such as Gael Clichy, Andrei Arshavin and Nicklas Bendtner are all rumoured to be at risk but with some sections of the support demanding investment in the squad, Wenger has said he is not planning an overhaul of his team.

When asked if he expected significant changes to his squad over the summer, Wenger replied: "Not at all. Our team is 23 years old [on average], why should we have a huge turnover at the end of the season?"

One report on Friday suggested Arsenal could have as much as £40 million to spend in the summer and Wenger says money is available to make a big signing should he feel it is necessary.

"Is [that] available? Frankly I don't know," he said. "We have not completely checked out our financial position. The only thing I can say is that the club is in a healthy financial situation and, if needed, we can make a big transfer."

Despite Arsenal's current struggle to secure three points in the Premier League - a 3-3 draw at Tottenham followed a 1-1 draw at home to Liverpool, both of which saw Arsenal in strong positions to win the game - Wenger is still adamant he can win the title.

The Gunners boss says if Arsenal can win all of their remaining games - including a home tie against Manchester United on May 1 - they will finish the season top of the table.

"We have to add the winning mentality to the drawing mentality," he said. "We have a good basis because we are consistent. We have played 16 games without losing, what I feel is most important for us is to keep the belief and to win. I'm convinced if we win our last five games we will win the championship."

However, Arsenal may have to do without Abou Diaby for the United tie as he has suffered an ankle injury. The midfielder will definitely miss the weekend's game against Bolton.

Wenger say 4m enough, balance keep bank.

Mascherano will never come for sure. He rather get bench up than playing Arsenal.

Anyway, i don't believe Nasri will leave and close to signing a new deal too. This is only the first "real" year for him. Unlike Fabregas year in and out he feel disappointed.

I think there won't be a new defender or at most backup defender.

The whole freaking season we haven't see Vermaelan and god knows if the combo with Djourou would turn out to be an awesome pair or even with Koscielny. Hopefully Vermy will return before end of the season to prove or show a little or at most during pre-season before deciding further on CB.

If Fabregas did leave, Wenger will surely buy another playmaker. I totally agree on Wenger puttign Nasri as winger instead of the central midfield role as it restrict his trickyness and pace.

But i can say that if Fabregas leave, the whole team needs a rebranding again which is really sad as Arsenal is so close yet so far again.

Yes. I must agree with you. It is frustrating to keep seeing Ars players keep passing in the box.

I was like... "Dudes, when you guys gonna shoot la??"

The worst was, every player had to run to the box to provide support.
And when they lose it, those players had to run back to their positions.

Its very tiring to do that.

The passing game had to reduce. Look at the game against Tottenham. Nasri did not pass when had the opportunity to shoot. And yea, he scored a brilliant goal.

Lucky u not Barca fans. They try their best and make 99999 pass until u will fall asleep whistling.gif

Barca palyers are far more superior than Ars.. Their passing really makes every player worth going forward for.

Unlike Ars..which i realized that they tend to let the ball slipped away. If they really want to pass all the way to the goal, at least la make sure its worth for a goal.

If not then, other players effort of sprinting up to box will surely b wasted.

Try imagine putting Bendtner on it and I am sure he will lets all the efforts wasted    doh.gif

barca's passes are world class and their >99999 passes made >9999 goals for them.. simply world class where you just cant compare them with a low budget squad..
*
What league are they playing? EPL has 20 teams that could beat each other week in week out but Spanish League seriously? Now they have a Dubai rebrand team which is a total disgrace rclxub.gif

And Barca can pass all they want but they only score 1 against RM from the 2 out of the 4 match and the goals come from penalty whistling.gif

Happy or not with the passing i think Arsenal is doing great. U can't expect them not to pass it around when the opponent is defending deep and trying their best to counter attack.

QUOTE(tatabun @ Apr 23 2011, 05:34 PM)
well, im sorry if i have hurt your feelings with the truth. just see the ratio of their goals per season and you should know what am i talking about.
they have beaten you in champions league didnt they?  an english team? a poor man's barcelona. didnt they? passes that made others looks like they are chasing chickens.
dont compare apple with oranges. you wouldn't be so sure that arsenal would survive in La Liga dont you? they breed their players from La Masia. its their specialty
*
U also can't guarantee Barca player can survive EPL rite? All their players are made of glass and once broken consider broken already. They breed their players but also bought a huge chunk and not a cheap one too, we breed some, mend some and bought some.

U better compare durian with apple then if u are telling the truth. Durian has more attractiveness compare to apple which in this case Barca and Arsenal. Not everyone likes durian nor apple icon_idea.gif

But like many people like to say u can pass to death but at the end of the day results matter. Barca failed badly at the cup match against RM.

Sorry against Barca fans, not meant offense but this guy compare to fruits which is rclxub.gif

QUOTE(ivanau88 @ Apr 23 2011, 09:40 PM)
not actually luck but their determination is what our team lack of. Everytime Utd drop point, we drop as well. When we drop, people take advantage. sigh
*
I mean they fail to score in Newcastle without some potential luck but today match some luck do play a part.

Anyway MU deserved to win the game, Everton are totally confuse the whole game on what are they suppose to do.

1. you dont just look at 1 result and judge. if i did i would say the 5-0 drubbing they gave to Real is enough to shut you off  smile.gif
2. its an idiom. you see things too direct

my inital reply was because you were saying "barca can pass 99999 untill you fall asleep". which is funny how you would comprehend a beautiful play
*
Lol looks like u got it totally wrong then. I was saying to the guy i quote saying Arsenal pass back pass back until he/she is bored which is why i say lucky u never support Barca because u see them pass much more than Arsenal which cause u to fall asleep.

Idiom should stay away from football as it no idioms will ever be true to represent current "football".
