Hello. currently i have a big acrylic and two 12cm fans. my question is...how can i get power to connect the fans?  wall socket is okay , and the...12v adapter thingy is okay too..but what exactly is that thing? lol.. the adapter looks like this  . where can i get it? the picture u show is an old model power adaptor...but new model with similar function available at electronic stuff store and outlets...u'll find it there...

I would go with cheapest PSU and mod it to run independently then just plug your whatever fan and it runs.
