It's here:

Proper Pre and Post Workout Nutrition

Anyways, a lot of people feel sleepy after a heavy meal. It's just up to the individual to get over that feeling.
I use to always get sleepy after lunch but nowadays I don't.

Tak cukup makan?
You need to have calorific surplus to grow. Especially on the protein side.

Like what Dan said, that's more than enough supplements bro.
Try your absolute best to eat natural foods though.
Nothing beats it.

I myself am not a big eater and am really struggling to get my 1g protein per pound of body weight but I'm quite proud to say that I am being quite successful so far.
I buy stuff like soft tofu, tuna, soy milk to consume at various times of the day. And there's no hassle to it, just open and eat.
All the best.

My home is run out of plain water, so I use beer to mix my protein blends.. really don't taste bad though.. who tried it before?

If it's for postworkout, then it's a definite no. No fats for the postworkout shake.

i'm not saying i know it's good or bad, i was merely puzzled by the fact that u said beer contains fat.

i have no idea what beer + protein combo can do to your body as i do not have scientific proof to that.

My bad on the fat part.
Anyways, from what I've been reading, it seems that somehow the body converts a small part of the alcohol into fat so I guess that's bad as well.
And it seems that non-alcoholic beer would actually be good for post-workout.

Ah nice, meaning alcoholic drinks are not good post-workout as it hinders the quick absorption of carbs and protein.
Is that about right?

been to egonutritions this evening to buy the rm60 creatine but it's out of stock. luckily, there's an alternative to that, even cheaper, the Six Star Pro Nutrition Creatine.

bought it for rm85, for the 2.5lbs tub. currently there's a promotion there. buy two tubs of the creatine and get Six Star Pro Nutrition BCAA.

my opinion on the creatine:
Pros:-
1. Dissolve easily in water
2. Have flavor, which is quite good when being mixed with protein powder (tried with myofusion)
3. effin cheap, rm85 for 2.5lbs = 1.13kg

Cons:-
1. The scoop is super big and ridiculous (almost like whey scoop, so i replace it with my egonutritions 5g creatine scoop)

Is it this?

If yes then...
Alamak bro, I think that's a creatine mixture (not creatine mono).
If I read the label correctly, you get about 8g of creatine in 1 of their scoop.
43g are carbs. And the remaining are other stuff.
It's like whey blends.

A post-workout shake question:

What do you guys mix your whey with?

I'm not sure what mixture is good to provide the carbs needed for recovery.
Low fat milk doesn't give enough carbs.
Soy milk has quite a bit of fat.
Fruit juices nullifies creatine.

Plain old sugar water or carbonated drinks? Lol.

It's ok bro, take it as you're trying something new.
You never know, it might actually work better for you.
Anyways, in case it gets lost in the previous page:

Whats wrong with citrus?
*
Seems that it reacts with creatine to form creatinine which is not useful to the body.

*edit: talking about creatine mono here

If that were true, wouldn't the HCl in the stomach destroy it, since its more potent?

Looks like citrus might not affect creatine after all...
Headache...

Was trying to find the actual article stating that (thinking that it might not be the acidic nature of citrus but something else that breaks creatine down) but have not been successful.

Am not enjoying my Dymatize Elite Whey Rich Chocolate.
Not surprising as it has the lowest review among the taste. Highest was chocolate mint.

Maybe a silly question but...
Most whey isolates like ON gold and Dymatize Elite whey already has BCAA inside.
Therefore there's no need for additional BCAA right?
