Darn... this blue raspberry tasted pretty sour... dont look forward taking it. I usually take 2 scoops most of the time. (Just got it a week ago). Today I tried upping to 3 scoops to see if this was the cause of the headache, And bingo! I had the worst headache I could ever get in a long while...

Hi,im currently using inner armour quad protein..wan to try new protein soon..is gaspari myofusion better than the protein im using now?for diet purposes.

tried blue raps b4, nothing wrong. r u experiencing only for this flav or this is the 1st time on xtend?
i only had serious headache/dizziness with NO Xplode (pre wo). The rest r ok.

1st time on xtend, but I seriously felt the taste was more of some kind of asam boi than sour berries...

btw, how many scoops and with how much water do u take each time?

I usually make 4 scoops into bout 500-600cc. Tried adding ice cubes to make it real chilled, taste less awful.

I'm using Xtend grape now. Tastes awesome, best out of all the flavours I've tried so far (apple, lemon, watermelon). Only thing I'd take away from it is mixability. Takes a good 5 minutes of mixing to get it done properly. laugh.gif

4 scoops with alot of water. I don't usually follow the instruction on amount of water. More is always better.

lol, one of these days those with diff xtend flavours should gather and exchange samples... then we can decide what we should really go for instead of buying one tub and suffer through it if one dislikes that flavour

but i see many happy sifu's above not heaving any prob with the headache... i shall experiment it further more, eg 1 scoop with 0.75L instead for a while and see how it goes...

i have blue raspberry here, exchange point --> jaya33/menara tm lol

i use 4 scoops for normal play
but for legs and shoulders mesti 6 scoops
and alwiz use super chilled water or add ice on top of chilled water
hahaha

i just finished my big tub of rasp
so far i've tried orange, rasp and apple and i have to say apple's the best out of all of them
tomorrow im buying watermelon (i hate air tembikai but i'll give this one a try)

i figured out sizeon pricey (and i still have some creatine mono too lol) ...so i decided to try something more worth the buck dulu... manatau each consumption somehow gave me headache... now i really headache with what to do with it if i still get headache by using until next week...

I went thru my entire tub of NOXplode with dizziness and stomach upset.
Take it like a man! LOL
Worst case scenario just sell to anyone in ur gym at cheaper price.

it is pricey indeed, but this is ur first time taking bcaa ? the extra ingredient only citrulline malate and glutamine wonder which one trigger the headache.

yep first time, i had no idea which one does, but I googled around and I found several factors:

1. i'm hypoglycemic ? hence bcaa reduces my serotonin and the headache + fatigue starts to kick in?

2. sucrolase? too much sucrolase would trigger the headache? (but i dont think this would be it as even ON whey and myofusion has sucrolase... unless xtend uses way more sucrolase per scoop than the protein shakes)

even for glutamate, it is also in ON whey.. never get any headaches with them. ON whey has been good to me since day 1. Heck when ON whey has BCAA's inside. I really don't feel factor 1 could be the cause, unless I'm taking way too much BCAA? lol

*one reason i choose to go with xtend was many mentioned about the tasty drink, but blue raspberry was really a fail to me lol

i tried the full 6 tabs per day. i`m feeling good all day. but i need to drink a lot of water. my lifts are getting heavier and heavier. plus i take superpump before workout so the workout is very intense.

i noticed recovery was alot better with 6 tabs a day compared to 3 tabs (one serving) finished a container in a month or so... and now, i`m trying animal pak.

Tried ON 100% Natural whey since can't get my hands on myofusion anywhere.

- Clumps slightly more than their normal whey gold standard
- Bought chocolate flavour, very very little chocolate taste though
- Slight fermented after taste rclxub.gif Like the after taste of certain import beers sweat.gif

the serotonin thiggy only happens if u take huge doses of bcaa (e.g.50g)... probably the flavouring agent? o.O

but the flavour.. i tried apple, wasnt as great as i imagine ... its like average, guess not all flav are good, so far i heard watermelon is still the best thou lol. I use apple because last time ego only left with apple doh.gif
