QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ May 17 2011, 03:00 PM) greetings guys, have been using optimum nutrition whey isolate and have finished a tub of it. Should i continue wit ON or chage to muscletech ultra whey isolate ? QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ May 17 2011, 04:30 PM) QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ May 17 2011, 04:34 PM) listen to the guys here, they don't buy MT products and still they are big.why settle for a protein that's way expensive when something much cheaper is equally effective? |

QUOTE(shaunhsc @ May 17 2011, 07:54 PM) bro do you know what the price for a regular 4lbs? actually it's not just their protein that's expensive...just for the sake of discussion, its just perhaps rm10 more expensive and losses out on # of scoops by 10 scoops but compensate with higher protein per serving. No hate but i think its just brand preference, shouldnt be a reason to hate 'em. Currently myofusion and dymatize elite whey has the best deals (not to forget scivation), then again its blend vs regular whey. Got dymatize whey 10lb for rm250 recently. MT is general is an expensive brand. and gnc takes advantage of that fact to hike up the price, just saying. |

QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ May 19 2011, 03:10 PM) i used to buy my proteins from gnc because they were located near to my house. after checking the prices with egonutrition, i realised that they are preety overpriced. any other stores to check out ? can you tell us the reason y u want to change to MT brand apart from 'hearing that it's better'?Added on May 19, 2011, 3:12 pm so guys, should i cange from ON whey isolate to muscletech ? have you heard of other brands like Gaspari, BSN, Scivation, Universal etc?? They work equally well if not better, cheaper and most importantly taste good. |

QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ May 24 2011, 09:19 PM) Darn... this blue raspberry tasted pretty sour... dont look forward taking it. I usually take 2 scoops most of the time. (Just got it a week ago). Today I tried upping to 3 scoops to see if this was the cause of the headache, And bingo! I had the worst headache I could ever get in a long while... tried blue raps b4, nothing wrong. r u experiencing only for this flav or this is the 1st time on xtend?i only had serious headache/dizziness with NO Xplode (pre wo). The rest r ok. |

QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ May 24 2011, 10:08 PM) 1st time on xtend, but I seriously felt the taste was more of some kind of asam boi than sour berries... 4 scoops with alot of water. I don't usually follow the instruction on amount of water. More is always better.btw, how many scoops and with how much water do u take each time? QUOTE(-Dan @ May 24 2011, 10:27 PM) I'm using Xtend grape now. Tastes awesome, best out of all the flavours I've tried so far (apple, lemon, watermelon). Only thing I'd take away from it is mixability. Takes a good 5 minutes of mixing to get it done properly. will be my next flav!read in bb.com b4 their sales rep says grape n watermelon are their best sellers. |

QUOTE(gtoforce @ May 26 2011, 12:17 AM) Tried it. Somehow the old superpump250 does the trick better for me. QUOTE(mikehuan @ May 26 2011, 12:23 AM) here's one thing bugging me for a while now. how important is pre workout supps like No-Xplode for you guys? im avoiding this because i dont want to not be able to workout without a peri workout supp. How different are your poundages with and without the supp? Tbh u got to find the right one too. Each one works differently with different individual. In general u can get immense focus, better stamina n strength. 20-30 min after u have taken a pre wo , u know it's time to lift some weight. I guess tats the pump u get from pre wo.fyi for now im taking creatine + whey, thats it. This post has been edited by janson_kaniaz: May 26 2011, 01:07 AM |

QUOTE(oren_studio @ May 28 2011, 12:02 PM) If you only have budget for either one of these, which one will you choose? NO2 products like superpump for greater workout, or BCAA/EAA like xtend or wrath for greater recovery? I'm still a student and only have extra budget for one of these. All the basic stuffs are covered though. so wats ur aim? bulking? cutting?I'd asked at bb.com but only 1 guy replied and he mentioned to use no2 when bulking and bcaa/eaa for cutting. 1 guy at LYN say bcaa/eaa is a need while no2 is a want. Need more opinion from sifu here before making my decision. thanks if u r a beginner i feel bcaa is more important since poundage or PR (from pre wo supp) is not really ur concern. recovery is more important. To me it's simple. We can't say wat to buy n wat not. If u can only have one at a time just buy one 1st n see the effect. You will always want to try both anyway. Nvr try nvr know. Buy one of them 1st.
