So do I. My first time seeing it too. Was at Westin Bukit Bintang. I was walking down the Pavilion sidewalk to take a look at the new Porsche showroom when I saw it, so I dashed across the road for this picture. smile.gif

hahaa..no,politicians burn our tax money. Royalties dont actually get anything from tax money.. they get their pay from the government. and yeah they hv their businesses. every thread this will come up. hahaha
Johor is one royal family in Malaysia that dont use any of their income from the government for themselves. The pay that get is used for some Sultan Johor Royal Foundation which is used to give scholarships to johor students for further studies. and they hv their own funded military and all that. mmm

@DC: very nice stuff, dude. Two Fezzas blasting away... would be quite a sight (& sound!)!

Here's a failed attempt at panning; wasn't prepared for it:

I quite like this picture. Blurry shot shows the car in very quick motion.

Nope.
Gallardo superleggera.
*
No, it's a standard Gallardo. No carbon ceramic disc brakes (note: the discs are silver, not graphite greyish).

Apart from registration, that is.

Anyways, my pics from today's event. Includes some guy planking next to the CAV GT on the main straight, the coolshirt the GT drivers use to prevent spontaneous personal combustion in this heat, a very popular Cali (not silver one), and the wrecked Murci.

A note on the Porsche Cayman incident:

We were in 4 columns along the main straight. The first column moved off as per directed by marshalls. The second started moving off. Then people got impatient in their probably overheating cars and started cutting out, and the marshalls lost control.  That's why in the video you see two orderly stationary columns, and the centre column moving only. The marshalls were trying to hold impatient drivers back, but they kept on trying to cut out. The problem is that the only barrier to entry in the supercar club is money, and sometimes in that money category you find some real impatient/egoistical sohais.

Wow! Rare black Murcie Roadster next to GT40 and Camaro behind the GT40. And is that guy 'planking'? laugh.gif

I've seen this Murcie at Pavilion before. Thank God it's written off now, actually. I hate that hideous rear spoiler.

Well, the spoiler is what keeps the car safe at such speeds.... If no spoiler... Bull also can fly edi...  biggrin.gif

But standard already enough to keep the car stable, no? For sure Lamborghini have already tested the car at its top speed and ensure the car is stable before releasing it to the public. But VeilSide kits are always outrageiously design, sometime too ugly.

inside / outside track also had accidents..

Usual lah, Malaysians... everytime got F1 or Super GT race sure got accident happen on the highway before and after the race. Before start: all racing to the curcuit. After race: all want to replicate the race on public roads.

QUOTE(Zammie @ Jun 21 2011, 03:02 PM)
Why do people keep thinking that the Veyron has a 16.4 litre engine?
*
Because the number "16.4" is engraved on the engine cover! biggrin.gif Guys, it actually stands for 16 cylinders and 4 turbos, so don't get it wrong. Capacity is 8.0.
