Previously when I saw so many people complained about the DIR-615, I equally wonder why, so I tried to dig more info.....
I was referring here
it seem like the DIR-615 has many different models running on both Ralink & Atheros chipset:
C1, C2 = Atheros AR9130@400
D1, D2, D3, D4 = Ralink RT3052F@384
E1, E3, E4 = Atheros AR7241@400
The DIR-615 from TM is model G1 & G2, runs on RT3052F@384
The G1 FCC ID: KA2DIR615G1
Indicated that the antenna gain is only 1.8dBi ....
Well surprisingly my G1 is rather good, I toss all kind of stress, torrent, IPTV at the same time, but it still doesnt wanna break, One day I call TM to check my telephone line problem, that TM technician come "stole" it from me by exchanging it to G2. G2 is working pretty well now. I never really have a chance to use my RB250GS and 750G. I was referring here
