So i dropped the DIR615 in favour of the TP Link WR841N v7.2. Worked like a charm, and wifi radius within the house greatly increased(almost double)

Now I got a bit of worry if the "white" indoor fiber cable can it last long under sun/rain as about 3meters are exposed outside.

@rattan,
Bro, is there any other way to complain about the slow speed at night other than myUniFi or calling their ever busy helpline ? Every night speed drops until 1.5mbps at 10pm+
*
sigh, same case with me now...morning til night sure slow speed...sometimes in the afternoon fast then back to slow. after 12am only can get the promised speed. what could be the problem?

i'm in tmn united only btw...

The slow I experience is some time in 1hour on "Fileserve" getting slow, but I try "Hotfiles" or "Filesonic" it's fine.
Speedtest indicate 4.++mbps down and 5.0mpbs up.
But, it's still acceptable for me.
I'm already download 200GB files and it's still rock....
But don't know why "Fileserve" become slow.
*
same here...downloads only slow when dl from fileserve...

Luckily i didn't go out, totally forgot that today a technician suppose to come and lucky he called laugh.gif

Came over to fix my VoIP issue cos i changed the last 4 digit numbers last week and the dect phone went dead. Anyways issue settled and the tech was nice enough to help me call CS and screw them to reset my sessions. Now dl speed seems to be normal back smile.gif

ps-the tech also using 20mbps at home and use it to dl animes and movies like we do tongue.gif

What is the specific model of the tp link? And what are the symptoms? I got dc few times last night. I can see the BTU Voip LED also turn red when dc. Im pretty sure it is the TM link get dc, not issue with my dlink router right? Everytime i got dc, my voip led on btu surely bcome red.

actually some things are better left untold. i wanted to share something which my installer did but in order to protect his job, i'd rather not.

let's just say the installer that installed my unifi was a good man and he dun mind doing extra stuff just to avoid multiple documentations laugh.gif
