How would you know they did not upgrade their network? Care to share facts?

friend, speed comes with a price... it would not be fair if everybody only paying a little and consume 1TB of bandwidth a month...

wireless broadband providers have better competition, and yet all of them implemented bandwidth cap...(even when most of them ride on TM's backbone at a very discounted price)....

networks will always be upgraded, it can be capacity upgrade (say more unifi users), it can be technology upgrade...

so bottom line is, you can't doubt what you don't know for sure.... most of us can only speculate...only some of us knows what's really going on...

So far is there any other VDSL2 modem can support UniFi? Anyone tested yet? I'm thinking to replace mine.. since mine was replace 3 times within a month.. chipet!

Had a meeting with TM management last Friday. Their installation is now backlog till July-August already.

They are struggling to meet the demand. I think Unifi is really doing well in terms of number of customers.

Sad part is TM is only giving out installation contract to Malay (Bumi).

My advice to future subscribers.

Do not sign up.

The speed would seem all fine. Then it starts going downhill after 2 or 3 months, where you get 700kb/s of download speed on speedtests on a VIP20 account.

Seriously dude have you ever worked as a customer service representative over the phone? Because if you have, you would know that they're almost powerless in most cases. Call them, annoy them, pester them, it's fine. But if you think swearing or as you say F* them is going to speed up the process, you really need to think again. A better solution will be to get them to patch you through to their managers or supervisors. No point wasting your time on those phone operators because you might as well go swear at the mirror.

I want to ask something. Is VIP5 enough for home use? A bit of downloading though

You can use a USB hub, but a powered hub is preferred to prevent over-drawn power from the router. I'm more interested in RT-16N with 2 USB port and 300k connection session ability.
