QUOTE(movanns @ May 21 2011, 10:17 PM) guys, i upgraded my service from Streamyx 1mb to VIP 5..on the Unifi registration form, i tick the option to terminate my current streamyx and land line..some how, until today my streamyx and land line bills still come in..now i got my streamyx and land line bills overdue for 2 months! WTH Unifi never terminate my previous service..anybody ever facing the same issue? Same problem with me last August when I changed. It took me until March this year for them to acknowledge the problem and to refund the Streamyx. BUT, all they have done is to give me a RM500 credit on my Streamyx account, then close the account with the credit now floating around somewhere and me unable to get it. I asked them to credit it to my UniFi account but they ignored my now since March. I just emailed aduan@cfm.org.my and will see if they are of any use.

QUOTE(alexwsk @ May 26 2011, 04:08 PM) I did last time. All they do is tell TM to do something and TM took their own sweet time. Waste of time - I asked them to fine TM or at least sanction them somehow - they might as well just be another TM department for all the customer service they provide - just a standard form letter saying they have forwarded my complaint to TM! :-) Added on May 26, 2011, 4:30 pmQUOTE(aaronlim @ May 25 2011, 01:08 PM) I do agree on the commercial ads where it is new ads where volume is clearer and louder, but some movies especially old ones, it is very soft. hope it helps. In most countries it is illegal to have the commercials louder than the shows. I guess we will have to wait until 2020. -( This post has been edited by DPBaker2: May 26 2011, 04:30 PM

I made the mistake of accidentally paying my Streamyx bill for 3 months every time it came, even though (as I live in a condo and it uses the phone lines from basement to my floor) the Streamyx was physically cut off & couldn't possibly be used, nor could my old phone number. Getting them to admit I should be refunded took 6 months. Now all I need is for them to pay up.

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Jun 2 2011, 02:18 AM) I did mention this a few times before - I did get a rebate. A healthy RM149 for my VIP20. Took between 1 and 2 months IIRC... and lots of emails to both MCMC and TM, as well as a few phone calls. I got over RM500 rebate from TM not disconnecting my Streamyx when I moved to UniFi. However, they only credited it to my Streamyx account and then closed the account with the RM500 credit still there! All efforts to get them to transfer it to my UniFi account have so far failed and it has been ongoing since August last year. Oh, and I did claim for and get at least 3 rebates for loss of service during my Streamyx days if they failed to fix the problem within 3 working days.

If they can deliver fibre to my condo basement then run up the normal phone cable up 26 floors then shouldn't be any problem to the curb - probably a shorter distance.
Speaking of which - we condo dwellers use a different BTU to landed dwellers and I think my BTU is blown up and I want a spare anyway. Is it possible to buy the condo BTU anywhere in Klang Valley?
