I was having trouble with UNIFI for the past 1 week.
Unifi guys are generally very helpful, even to the extent of remotely settle your issues, but it wasn't settled. So they called yesterday to send me a technician to troubleshoot this morning. They changed my modem, it's exactly the same model, but I didn't get any disconnection or jam after that! Had been monitor for the past 7.5 hours, so far so good. I even showed the technician my TP LINK WR841ND that I bought jUST before they called. He said, "keep this, you might need it if the dlink is down, its generally better than what TM offers" So, now, I'm still a happy user, albeit sometimes the speed will slow down to 1.5 mbps at night. Will updatE |

it is really advisable to change to tp-link router due so many complaint have been made for D-link router. guess for price tag below less than RM100 should be really bargain and the performance much better than DIR-615. just my 2cent.

i wonder y some of you chose the easy way by buying TP link router so soon? i mean you people sign a contract for such product and knowing that monthly payment is withdrawn each month to pay the bill, y the rush to get tplink modem ? i mean , try living without internet for a while , if people from fukushima can live without infra , y cant we wait for tm support to force its suppliers dlink to give latest model? im pretty sure tmnet and dlink had signed a contract as well , rigth?

Hey... People chose the easy way because dealing with TM is a piece of MESS. They degil enough and won't change the router so easily. And... If not to go the easy way, people are wasting their money paying the monthly bill yet can't enjoy them. In long run, they lose more than going the "hard" way. Get what I mean. My router so far so good... Just random disconnection once in few days... |

If we can afford it I don't see why we shouldn't buy it since it is better than TM's DIR615.Heck some even buy those expensive (compared to other alternatives) Mikrotik products! |
