Although my VIP5 seems to have a stable download/upload speed, there's one issue though. I noticed that after a while of torrenting, it seems that I can't surf the web anymore.

Doing a ping to let's say lowyat.net will receive response but it seems that all my web browsers will not be able to surf any websites. It'll just show that the web server is taking too long to respond. sweat.gif

Anyone have similar experience?

Then I guess it's a problem related to TM's side.

Those who have similar problem? Does it happen to you all when you guys basically not doing much with your connection? Or does it happen when you guys do heavy downloading etc.?

What the hell, my unifi went down again, for the 3rd time in 2 weeks ! Previously it was the modem that was burnt, then the technician took 1 week to come over to CHANGE the modem. Two days later, unifi down again. Called unifi again, took them one day to send the technician over to my house. This time, it was the router that spoilt. Changed the router, and 6 days later, which is today, unifi went DOWN again ! This time there's no light on the DSL, Internet and VOIP1. What the fcukk ?! I'm paying rm149/month and i expected good services from unifi. Instead, i'm getting constant downs from unifi, poor service from unifi, very slow response ( their hotlines take about 10~20mins for someone to attend to my call, using hp to call since house phone goes along with unifi ), and according to their technician, NO technician wants to come to my condo. What the heck. Anyone experience such problems too?

Interesting. I am noticing some weird connections problems since Friday morning. Perhaps a coincidence but TM did an upgrade/maintenance on Unifi on Thursday night.

although i most of the time randomly unable to load web pages even though i'm not downloading anything and i'll have to restart the modem to solve it.
but restarting the modem will only solve it for an hour or so, and i'll get the same problem over and over again.

it's really pissing me off vmad.gif

Same here, after restart the modem (aka reconnect also can) will solve it for a while to get you back on the Internet. sweat.gif

Another thing is downloads from major file sharing sites (uploadstation, fileserve, filesonic) all gives me about 40kB/s max, I could get better speeds with Streamyx. doh.gif

I managed to get 20Mbps full speed on Megaupload, Fileserve, Rapidshare and Filesonic.
I don't have any issue about downloading while hardly get surf website.

Is it your D-Link router issue?

The past 2 days it was down for me after midnight for a few hours. Atleast tonight it seems to be working normally.

Regarding my slow speed to file sharing sites earlier, after midnight seems ok already. Wonder if it's some sort of throttling to certain sites during peak hours. hmm.gif

There's probably something wrong on their end. My net has been unstable after 6PM and then after 1am it just keeps timing out for 10-20seconds then back to normal again.
