Which means today? Hmm.. Have not received any call. sweat.gif

which location bro? This week installation mostly postponed. Inside TM news, TM facing shortage on BTU/STB. Installation that is effected in this will fall back in the waiting list which is 3-4 months from this week.

This is because of the "ladder" system TM is using for installation process.

Hmm but if it's postponed shouldn't they make a courtesy to inform those affected? hmm.gif

Finally, TP-Link TL-WR841ND V7.x compatible issue with Huawei HG655a VDSL has been identified & resolved!! rclxms.gif

I would like to thank the following persons for this whole trouble-shooting effort:

To IceBrew, for your continuous help to test & capture data for many rounds for the past few weeks, truly appreciate your patient & effort!  notworthy.gif

To TP-Link, for the special arrangement to purposely fly down 2 engineers just to trouble-shoot on-site.  Your company has once again demonstrated strong customer support & full commitment to work with any user closely to resolve localised issue.  Honestly, this is something I've never seem before, especially for the current small market like UniFi in Malaysia.  My respect to TP-Link, please keep up the great support effort!  notworthy.gif

To Rizvanrp, for your in-dept technical knowledge to quickly identify the root cause! Trust me, I was thinking we might have to spend long hours on this, I'm completely lost by looking at your Linux computer screen  sweat.gif and yet you can still tell us the root cause in less than an hour, you are really rock man, truly amazing!!  notworthy.gif  thumbup.gif

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, my layman understanding it was due to some kind of "Echo send ~ Echo receive" issue between the router client & Tm's server end.  Actually no modification on the beta firmware is needed, just have to change the following settings:
Network --> WAN --> "Advanced"
[attachmentid=2147516]

Hope this issue can now put to rest, any HG655a VDSL high-rise users if you are not happy with the DIR-615 can now consider this all-in-one complete replacement option.

Once again, thank you all for your great effort, cheers!!  biggrin.gif

To all kind gurus: I still can't connect with my TP-Link TL-WR841ND V7.2 and Huawei HG655a VDSL. sad.gif sad.gif I have followed exactly all the settings posted by klseet, including 'Detect Online Interval' = 30. I have even tried other values, 40, 50, 60 ... all the way to 120. No luck - WAN Connection Mode stuck at 'connecting ...'

Any other idea?

Just made call to TM, my speed now reached 11.95Mbps.

I would like to know it is UniFi stable ? The Maximum speed is 11.95.Mbps, but when I make speedtest, it jump high and low between 4Mb to 8Mb.

Well they didnt inform customers. They know if they call customer to inform they will get good shelling from customers. Some of them already waiting 3 months plus and when the installation day comes they don't turn up. Can u imagine how customers will yell over the phone.

Well anyway, want to apply unifi do PM me. I can get installation done within 1-2 weeks max. Guaranteed. wink.gif

dude, I'm experiencing the same thing as you. the line keeps dropping

on another note. during a thunderstorm do I still need to pull out the cable plug just like the normal modems where we have to pull out the phone line to avoid it getting struck?

my phone line is through poles, not underground.

good question. Since the lines are using fiberoptic cable now, theoretically it should be less prone to lightning strike. What you guys think?
