Guys, I found this tips on how to improve your battery life. I have done this and I can say it really make my battery survive longer than before. Please try this and give me your feedback: QUOTE Instructions
- Turn your phone on and charge it for 8 hours or more - Unplug the charger - Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour - Unplug the charger - Turn on the phone and wait 2 minutes - Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour - Unplug, turn it on and use as normal. Your battery life should now be a lot better

QUOTE(lunar @ Apr 11 2011, 10:46 AM) I tried this yesterday. Finished all the steps at around 4:30pm. Was on wifi for few hours (2-3) on YM, took some shots without flash, 1 short call. Before I went to bed, it's only 1/4 or slightly more bar gone, definitely not more than half. This morning woke up, its showing RED! Now left 12% Before I did this, at least twice I drained the battery flat before I charge it full again. What did I do wrong? Hmm, I did that yesterday and finished all steps around 6.15PM. I was on 3G for 1 hour and Wifi for few hour and until now my battery still at 91%. Try repeat the steps again and see if there is an improvement.

QUOTE(derrickmoo @ Apr 12 2011, 09:13 AM) Tried anyway already... It takes forever to load... Thats y I m so disappointed... I guess, rather than the Arc itself, it might be the Gingerbread bug since your old HTC is using Froyo. Lets see if other Gingerbread phone having the same issue or not before we can say the issue is the SE Arc itself. Cheers!

QUOTE(abundai @ Apr 12 2011, 12:45 PM) and thats with data enabled (2g/3g/wifi) ?? or plain normal standby Normal usage (call + sms and surfing via wifi at home from 8pm - 11pm) QUOTE(Borsch Soup @ Apr 12 2011, 12:49 PM) Arc is good phone but is it SE price it at 2099 to please and allow maxis to sell faster? Maxis has lots of outlets and marketing, maybe that's why. Why you so butthurt? If you like the phone, then just buy it or if you think you can't afford it right now, just wait until the price drop which is not so soon. End of story

Anyone can come here to voice their opinion. No need too emo la. He he he Anyway, the RRP is decided by SE and Maxis got nothing to do with the RRP. Even if you buy from the Authorized dealer, the price still the same. Cheers!

QUOTE(hsyong @ Apr 12 2011, 01:37 PM) I've used the Arc for a few days (I think now is on the 3rd charge) Battery drain at minimal use (mostly idling with screen off) is about 1% per hour. Background data: OFF Auto sync: OFF Network: 2G Mobile data: Connected No battery conditioning/cycling or other methods.. just normal charging after the battery warning appears. Just some info for those who are interested. How long you battery can last?

QUOTE(izadsyah @ Apr 12 2011, 04:45 PM) o_0 it's already been applied when you bought it? but now that you mentioned it, i think i might have applied my spare protector on top of the one that was already applied. LOL QUOTE(hsyong @ Apr 12 2011, 05:17 PM) Happened to me too... generally still responsive. But sometimes when I swipe around the home screens or the contact list.. it will accidentally open an app or open a contact. I have removed the second layer and leave only the pre-applied layer... no more accidental taps now:) QUOTE(atih007 @ Apr 12 2011, 05:37 PM) lucky i notice it's pre-installed screen protector. at first i was thinking to look for screen protector. So thats means the Arc already come with preinstalled screen protector? the SP inside the box is the spare SP? ayam confused...

QUOTE(hsyong @ Apr 12 2011, 07:31 PM) I think SE calls it " Shatter proof sheet on scratch-resistant mineral glass". Is it a screen protector or not? There has been a discussion about this for the X10 model (in XDA). For X10, lots of them don't put another layer and some even remove the pre-applied layer. For me, with just the pre-applied layer seems better than 2 layers (as I accidentally applied the spare one... then removed it a couple of days later) Duh, I guess I need to remove the 2nd layer. Should've checked the screen properly before putting the 2nd layer...
