How much free memory do you have when running spb shell 3D. It lags terribly and freezes occasionally. the transition between panes is not very smooth. The load up of the interface is too slow for my liking - takes up to 5 to 8 secs . I do not know know whether my assessment is too strict but comparing it against the Incredible S - it is obviously out , and I deem unsuitable. I think it could be my low free memory about 50-60 MB affecting it

I've used the Arc for a few days (I think now is on the 3rd charge)

Battery drain at minimal use (mostly idling with screen off) is about 1% per hour.

Background data: OFF
Auto sync: OFF
Network: 2G
Mobile data: Connected

No battery conditioning/cycling or other methods.. just normal charging after the battery warning appears.

looks like the outlook is important than the spec/price.

For me Arc is far sexier than the IP4.
For me its the Iphone4 killer.

Then again, its personal preference.

The 'Celcom' guy has been bashing the Arc since the start of this thread.. he hates the Arc

The N8 can perform better than any phone camera in bright or dark areas, as it has a very large sensor (for a phone). You can check and compare the sensor size on the web.

I had the N8 a few months ago (BEST camera, lousy UI), then changed to Desire HD (CRAP camera), then changed to Arc (GOOD camera).

So, camera is not everything, overall I prefer the Arc.

True geek will go for SGS2 or HTC Sensation.

All rounder & style conscious will go for ARC.

I believe u get it all wrong here... We did not say the camera is the best of all phone.. Its among... And i repeat again with caps AMONG android... Sure is  champ in camera... But does it have the specs... Arc is not a specc specs champ... Its an all-rounder...

If u not agree with that than its ur choice but i believe please don't simply call ppl sissies when ppl choose something that not in your preferences... Respect other ppl choices as long as it did not disturb ur true android geek... Oh btw true android geek would not simply choose the best specs... As i believe true android geek will try to own all type of android phone and use it ... Not just choosing the so call powderful dual core...

Just called up and heard that new arc shipment/stock gonna increase RM100. not sure is it true
