No comment on LYP but Sungai Wang is safe. I bought most of my phones there over the years and no problems at all.

Is there any videos or website doing stress test on Arc screen and body, want to know its limit
*
it should be sturdy enough...the arc is unbreakable but nothing can survive drop. it still depends on how it fall though.

The pre-applied sheet is very near to the glass edge and difficult to see. Using a high-power magnifying glass will help.

Anyway, you should already have the pre-applied sheet.

so everytime take out battery also need to manually change the date agian ?

yeah it is the same for all electronic devices that has an internal clock. all pcb motherboards have capacitors that have some stored energy which will keep the time and date current as long as it is not disconnected from their main power source over an extended period.

The 'Celcom' guy has been bashing the Arc since the start of this thread.. he hates the Arc biggrin.gif

The N8 can perform better than any phone camera in bright or dark areas, as it has a very large sensor (for a phone). You can check and compare the sensor size on the web.

I had the N8 a few months ago (BEST camera, lousy UI), then changed to Desire HD (CRAP camera), then changed to Arc (GOOD camera).

So, camera is not everything, overall I prefer the Arc.

Forget it, stock won't arrive till next week/ 2 weeks from now. I was just there earlier today. I had the opportunity to play with a test set. My, my what a sight it was, simply stunning! And so smooth too, someone mentioned flipping back and forth repeatedly through the photo gallery causes lag, which is a blatant lie. It was smooth all the way. Damn, it's getting more and more tempting, especially the silver one  drool.gif

wow this must be the 2nd time they restock. selling like hot cakes! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

The Xperia Arc camera's performance has now meet its challenger in the Galaxy S II :

Look at the 4th pic. It is obvious they simply took pics with the arc but regardless of all that, pics on arc generally looks better except for the last street pic taken at dark...one uses flash and the other don't? The degree of biasness is so blatantly obvious...like the previous N8 vs Arc doh.gif

You are an obvious Arc fan saying " simply took"  . I am not a photo expert - seriously I 'd think most of the shots are about the same - I will not declare any obvious winner but the SGS II do give some good shots. Whether it will outperform the Arc will depend on the user. As for me, both are equally good to me as I don't have a microscopic assessment of photo quality unlike some experts
*
I am not an arc fan lol but the image below can't simply be pass as an example.

As for the second pic, they obviously use it with high exposure value and flash which screwed up the picture when the subject is a light based ad.

Anyway but with low light or incandescent lighting, arc is the clear winner. icon_rolleyes.gif
