QUOTE(michaellks @ May 12 2011, 09:26 AM) I have the exact same problem,(but my phone doesn't shut down immediately after the 1% warning) and the thing is after charging it a while, it goes back to 20%, not sure if it's the same for your case. So what i did is i unplug the charger and use the phone till 1% again, then this time when charging, i go to settings and make the screen always on while charging, then only i see the battery charging progress properly. I tried it out last night in fact. And at just my previous charge, my battery indication was at 100% even after 13 hours, after some games and all, i thought the battery level indicator was faulty, but it did drop after that. I'll monitor to see if I can see my battery level in the 10 to 20% level again, cos i've never seen it in that range after using it for 2 weeks now. My problem getting worst, just now when battery was 37% then i switch on mobile internet within 10 seconds 1% warning came out then phone shutdown. I also found that even charging time is vry short but the level of battery indicator goes up very fast. I will try out your solution and see if it is works.

QUOTE(michaellks @ May 12 2011, 09:53 AM) I charge mine with the phone on, and as mentioned earlier u have the options at settings -> applications -> development -> stay awake so that ur screen never sleep during charging. I mostly use USB to charge it. I see, most of the time i switch it off and charge. Ok will try your way. Now I can see batterry warning at 15% and i continue using it by switch on data,GPS, wifi so far the battery indicator is decreasing constantly. Will re-charge it again until battery reach 1% and shutdown itself.

QUOTE(michaellks @ May 13 2011, 07:44 PM) Hi, good that it works for you, funnily for me it still happened, my battery went down straight to 1% from 20++% today. Just got it charged till 100%. I called the seller and he said other customers are complaining the same issues as well. I'll monitor this cycle and see what happenes. Do you have Juice defender installed or Extended control installed? FYI, I uninstall these 2 apps and revert back the transparent status bar (from XDA) before try your method, I think the battery problem might caused by some apps. If you do have above, you may try remove it.

QUOTE(michaellks @ May 22 2011, 02:45 PM) Try to further monitor it, it's abnormal behavior. Two weeks into using this phone, i retained 100% even after 13 hours. And the battery went straight to 1% from 20++% after that. Try charge your phone until you see battery status " FULL" instead of "charging" (setting->about phone-> status), then monitor to see if the problem still persists. It's works for me, just aware that 100% doesn't mean FULL. This post has been edited by mostwanted82: May 22 2011, 10:01 PM
