I have the Desire HD and Xperia Arc... both about the same, quite smooth.

But occasionally, there will be "stutter" when you swipe around the UI or opening app... not serious, quite negligible.

Android should be able to manage RAM usage properly, I think 512MB shouldn't be the issue.

I bought from phone shop, not Maxis, but have the exact same accessories. So I think HDMI cable is included for all Malaysian sets.

That is the standard package from ALL ori Malaysian sets. Maxis is just hyping the "RM429" biggrin.gif

i think he meant no lagging so far lol..

so far im satisfied with arc.. cant compare with o2x in terms of raw power, but i nid a slim n good camera, so arc got wht i nid hehe ^^

Just check out this phone and the brother Neo today. Everything is great except no front camera = no video call...

The pricing also nice for a no contract unit. But the discount given by Maxis for 12 months is too little, and Maxis got the monopoly right now so can't expect much.

i just tried play a h264 MKV. File size is around 1.9gb by using rock player.. quite lag.. is there any other player that can play smoothly?

Nope.. not from Maxis. From a phone shop.

The box has a sticker with "Accessories Inside worth RM429"... so it's the same accessories with all sets, not just Maxis.
