2470 is the basic degree salary in maybank expect for sales position rm2000... usually 2470 means you are permanent staff.. and as a permanent staff, after confirmation to resign you can leave 1 month notice.. but make sure you confirm with HR to avoid any problems in future

• The purpose of BET Programme is to build bench strength in building talent pool and pipeline to realize the Bank’s aspirations specifically for Branch Management.
• Trainees will undergo classroom and on-the-job training for about 2 years as planned by the Management to develop skills and knowledge required in managing a Branch or Centre.

• Trainees will then be rotated for exposure in Credit Analysis, Operations Management and Product Marketing at a base branch.
• At the end of the programme, trainees are expected to be able to understand and recognize the processes involved in managing a Branch or Centre and view it in totality.
• Learning objectives will cover areas such as overview of the credit analysis and writing, handling frontline operations (e.g. remittance, current and savings accounts), dealing with customer demands, understand their involvement in meeting sales target, effective product marketing and recognize the urgency in meeting deadlines for management report and updates.

As I know, there is no increment after confirmation. But you are entitle to certain benefit.

Probation period is 6 months where your direct superior/ manager will review you.

Probation period is 6months - if you are not performed well, the period will extended to 9months before confirmation...
Some benefit like (annual leave (24days a year) / medical(unlimited) / credit card approval(platinum but not so happy you use, you bear the interest same like other customer)) you can enjoy even you not yet confirmed but increment only after 1 year, rm197 per year...
loan rate after be confirmed you will enjoy it... (special rate for staff)
working environment ~varies ~depend on branch/business centre / region you attached to...

Is this Maybank Branch Executive Trainee a new recruitment program of Maybank, something like Credit Analyst in PBB?
Or it is like Management Associate / Management Trainee program of UOB/HSBC/Citibank and etc?
